The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.
The telethon was created to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is leading the fight against muscular dystrophy. MDA dedicates itself to strength, independence and life. To learn more about MDA and to donate, please visit www.MDA.org.

We had guys like Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince etc. All magical in their way but man, little Richard is like that drill Sgt in boot camp constantly screaming at you. Wherever you go, barracks,chow hall, latrine, pt field, range. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! RIP Little Richard!

Sad to hear of Little Richard's passing today.😢 I had the chance of seeing him perform at our Ottawa Bluesfest awhile ago w/Eric Burdon & Smokey Robinson. Seeing Little Richard onstage was amazing! I'll never forget that night, nor his voice. #RIPLittleRichard

No musician compares to Little Richard so much that everyone is felt with his physical loss, we feel that with him part of rock history died and ended today 9-5-2020, rock has somehow been dying with many fads and musical genres that come and go, the film media contributes to this to occur, but while they had avid people c who have the desire to make the stones roll the Rock will never die! Rest in peace Little Richard, our Meste, Icon, Legend, Pioneer of Rock"n"Rool! What we have to say is to thank this Splendid Master! Thank you very much Little Richard!
