These Q/As are my favorite headphone related content. I listen on the go and it feels like I'm hanging out with friends who share this hobby. I like that. Suggestion: I wonder if it would help the search engine visibility your channel to make a list of the headphones mentioned in the Q/A. This could be done by audience members while listening if you post a link to a shared google sheet with time stamps listed down the first column. Then as brands and models are mentioned, listeners sharing the sheet could type these into the cells to the right of that time stamp. (example: 15:00 RMAF, MiniDSP Ears, Sennheiser HD650 etc) The result at the end of the Q/A would be a nice index which you could then cut and paste into the summary content space above. Then, when people search for those brands and models, your Q/A's would show up in the RU-vid and Google search results. And later, by clicking on the timestamp in the list, listeners later could jump right to the location where that brand and model were mentioned. :-)

I wish I had time to make all those timestamps, it's just a lot to go through. I'm having another one of these this Sunday at the usual time as well

Where is the first 33 minutes? I asked a question at the 23rd minutes and my connection got lost :) and I couldn't reverse back while livestreaming as used to be. The question was "What's the most technical closed backs under $250? I don't mind EQ"

I think it was still processing. RU-vid does some weird stuff for a while right after the stream ends

NAD VISO HP50 for 140$ on Amazon. Extremely accurate headphones (a little warm), for that price is a bargain. But you have to try the fit, unfortunately they are not the most comfortable hp and some people have problems whit the seal. For me they are perfect tho. Amazing imaging( narrower but more precise then my HD650).

Used thx00s or Denon d2000s, nothing else even really comes close on that price category, but they do leak sound and aren't really great for portable, so if those things are issues, then dt770, then m50x

hey dude what's up? first of all thanks for the all informations you share with us and my question I'm looking for a closed back headphone for my digital piano I know open backed works really good but because I have a roommate i need some isolation I search a lot , so the quality , detailed sound , neutral sound , sound stage everything is important here and of course comfort, I think amount of ohm too so just give me some recommendations dt 770? mdr 7506 with changing pads? what should I do!?

One of commenters in the chat asked about the Panasonic RP-HD10. Bought them and returned them fairly quickly. Their mids/upper treble likely have some odd spikes and dips. They are... pretty rubbish for music. Everything sounds kind of cavernous, so soundstage is pretty big (surprisingly for a closed back), which wasn't too bad in games as imaging was good, too, but stuff that should've been intimate in music just wasn't. Comfort was also an issue as they plastic bit above the drive juts out quite a bit. I also tried and the Audio-Technica MSR7b (the new 'balanced' version) and they sounded almost like the opposite of the Panasonic - everything sounded intimate and just slightly bright in mid/upper treble. It was kind of like listening to some Chi-Fi in-ears, tbh. The pads are also uncomfortable - too small for me, I barely for a seal (but I did manage to get it so seal). I tried swapping the pads, but all of those I had had a bigger opening in the pad and it made them way too bright. I'd get the AKG K371 instead of either of them. I had an issue with sibilance on them, but it might not be in issue for you (metal571 seems to have no issues there), but they were very nice for me too, otherwise.

That sounds a lot like the original msr7 I didn't bother reviewing. Just brittle and stage wasn't all that amazing

I know,but for me is ok,but i think about the younger kids or the people that dont now this kind of strange "headphone extreme is" this is a lot of number variations today , Back in the old days the headpone had just a name. I have listen to the Great Orpheus headphone,and still owns a old Stax lamba,but there are so much more that is now coming out this days,whit different numbers on them that is so difficult to know what is what where you dont have a name behind it ;)

Hifiman HE-6 with fazors plz...
@metal571
@metal571 4 года назад
That's basically what the Susvara is, but with an even more upgraded diaphragm. Hifiman call their fazors "stealth magnets". The HE1000SE also uses them.

I read the susvara is basically the same like the he-6, but with more "harman" like response. And the he-6 is already insabe in overall resolution & cleanness, even the not perfect treble response beats all headphones I heard overall in overall detail, although it sounds bit artificial and not 100% clean. The hd580/hd600 upper mids/treble timbre remains untouched for me, never Heard anything come close here.
