I can be pretty hard to parse at first. What will help the most is going to local headphone meets, and also buying a 6XX, as that's the reference sound I compare everything to

Do you have any knowledge of Phonon Subtonic Monitor Basic Headphones Smb-02? All reviews are pretty much incredible but there are only a handful available. Only 16 reviews showing at Amazon

Unit variation is crazy. I recently got three HD599 each of them with different sound. I mean it's not that they sound like a totally different headphones, but differences were quite obvious and confusing.
