It depends how much you use the airconditioning. In high season we spend up to 2500 Baht and it's on most of the time. In rainy season, we use more fans as it's not that hot and spend about 1000/1200 Baht.

Of course it matters. If you’re here on vacation and in your stay you need to take out money from the ATM. Let’s say for example you spend 30k Thai baht while you are here. All ATMs charge the same price 220 baht per withdrawal. If you take from a ATM that only allows 10k baht withdrawal per transaction that will end up costing you 660 baht. Where as if you use the ATM I pointed out you can take 30k out in one transaction fee of 220 baht saving you 440 baht. 👍👍

Would you rather get charged $6 for taking out $300 or charged $6 for taking out $900 per transaction??? I agree $6 is high. But good tips to save money are always helpful. I’m sure you would agree 👍

You must not travel much. If $6 is too much why not look at the prices in the usa or Europe. This is magnitudes better.
