Armor Lite Aluminum Sliders from LoD Offroad - Jeep Gladiator
It’s time to add some protection to the rocker panels on the 2021 Giveaway Gladiator and this time we are going to be a little different. We’re going with a set of Armor Lite aluminum sliders from LoD Off Road. Yes, you read that right, we are installing aluminum sliders onto a Jeep Gladiator that is going to get used and abused off-road.
The Armor Lite sliders will save us 30+ lbs over traditional steel sliders and unlike many other sliders, these are frame mounted for excellent rigidity. These sliders are also easy to install with only one hole to drill, depending on your model of Jeep.
We do run them across one of our favorite slider testing rocks in this video and yes, we did scratch them pretty good, but to be fair, we’ve scratched steel sliders up on that exact same rock too.
So who are the LoD Armor Lite sliders designed for? For those of you who want a good looking, lightweight and easy to install slider that will hold up on mild to moderate trails.
