@Chris C nah, the decentralisation of crypto provides a real strong use case, taking power out of the hands of corrupt states, banks, corporations etc. and giving it to regular people. With the world becoming more and more fucked by the day, owning a major crypto asset now is like having oil at the beginning of the industrial revolution

I don't think anyone said it was the only moon. For some reason Dan thought it should be called Lunar To differentiate it from other moons, but it doesn't as lunar means moon and not a specific moon. Exactly, ethan is right in that a celestial body orbiting a planet is technically called a satellite, but they can also be called moons. Like the different moons of the planets in our solar system. Surprised he knows the term satellite but hasn’t heard of say Neptune’s moons.

Could you show me a scientific publication where the Moon is called Luna? I looked through three Wikipedia entries and also half a dozen of their respective references and only ever found the name Luna when the soviet moon missions where mentioned.

I know Wikipedia isn’t a scientific article lol And Ive never heard the second two names to be honest. I guess it’s Latin based, but there’s a reason all missions to the moon are called Lunar. The words Lunacy and Lunatic are both referring to the moon. I personally usually call it the moon, you can call it Luna if you want. The main point is that other planets do have moons lol.
