Most wound up pretty close to the actual film. Looks like they originally were going to have them drive back to the domed city in some kind of steam-converted car...

According to concept art, Logan, Jessica and the Old Man found an old car and drove back to the Dome City. I'm glad that they walk back in the finished film. It just makes more sense.

It's interesting tha in one of the making of featurettes , as they mention LB Abbott, you can see this multicolored bejeweled rotating shape being filmed against a black background that must have been the original version of the Carousel forcefield. it would have looked more like the concept sketch as seen here.

This is GREAT! Thanks for sharing. I recall a few years ago a lot of the original costume artwork was for sale on Ebay. Unfortunately at that time, I was not in a position to buy any. :-(

The movie was and is fantastic. But listen UP kiddos pry your eyes off the computer ,tv etc. READ THE BOOK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@ Oh and thank you for this video Greathall75 well done.....

The book is very interesting, quite a bit different in many ways. I would love to see a remake with a scene at a finished Crazy Horse Memorial!

not at this time! they continue to change everything up and they will mess it up rather than make a movie CLOSER to the origional book!!! 21 years old was last day and they would have to make it NC-17 or X rated if the made the book( ALOT of sexual situations!!!) with it coming from the hippy "Free Love" era of the 1960's and all drugs legalized for use ,including some new ones!!!! The origional Book is much different than the 1970's movie they made!!! Remember the moto...."NEVER TRUST ANYONE OVER 21!!!"
