Did great and honestly glad his character evolved a lot in this series. I do agree with Ralph the McDonald's time is absolutely unnecessary. And that promo still made no sense and they featured all those movies and shows in the promos but they didn't mention Mac and Me? Lol Shame!

@@SaltStorm007 True but unlike in Thor 1 all the scenes in Loki were he gets emotional are completely unearned. Loki crying and getting angry after finding out he isn't odins son goes hard, but Loki crying over goofy shit like Kang and Sylvie makes no sense.
I challenge you, Ralph, to explain to me what actually happened in Loki Season 1 and 2. Cause I didn't see any Loki in this Loki-show (well, except Richard E. Grant), and nothing of any cohesion or coherence. It kinda destroyed the MCU and doesn't even function as its own story.
Sylvie is trash, even worse in S2.... The idiot wants to live her own life in her timeline but refuses to help Loki STOP THE DESTRUCTION OF EVERY SINGLE TIMELINE INCLUDING THE 1 SHE WANTS TO LIVE IN.....

I'm surprised that Ralph didn't share my dislike for the first few episodes of season 2 as I did. Other than the setdesign and some high-concept gimmicks, everything about the first few episodes of the season felt terrible from the characterization, the plot, and the atrocious dialogue which at some points was just straight up ripped from an "Incorrect Quotes" generator. I even dropped the series after becoming immensely disappointed, only to then be told to watch the rest where it progressively got better.
I'm in shock okay not that shocked he's always been a bit of a fat bastard, but its surprising how we've lost so much ground in so little time that Loki is considered good by people like ralph

Season one was great, season two was dramatically worse, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. They swapped out the entire writing and directing staff and boy does it show. Dialogue, plot, shot composition, all a huge step down. Maybe it's all real and I got the alternate reality version where they handed the S1 actors, set designers, OST and budget to a high school production team oOoOoOoOo
Loki is the best thing Marvel has done post-Endgame. It isn't afraid of being it's own show. A lot of the other products give up and the finale is always a mindless CGI battle (Wandavision). Props to the writers and creators for not allowing Loki to have that.

Loki is easily one of my favorite things in the MCU. I wasn’t super big on Loki in the films outside of Ragnarok so I wasn’t super excited for the show. So I was completely blown away by it. Sidenote this show might have the best original score in the franchise

I honestly did not like this series at all. I thought they completely ignored everything that made Loki interesting from the previous movies and were just like “well I guess he’s just evil because he’s a pompous narcissist lol”. Sylvie was a horribly dull and annoying character, and I never want to see her in anything ever again. Also I thought Tom Hiddleston was overacting WAY too much in this show. Just compare his performance in the series to any of the previous movies he was in and you’ll see what I mean. (To be fair, I have not watched season 2 so I can’t comment on that but from what I’ve heard, I seriously don’t have any interest in seeing it.)
Anyone else think is was kinda funny in a dumb way how Sylvie dedicated her life to killing He Who Remains to free herself from the TVA's authority, but then once she's free to do whatever she wants and go whereever she wants, she settles on just working at Mcdonalds?

He actually likes a lot of things one of my favorite reviews of his was a movie he really enjoyed. It's like RLM. You like when they roast things but when they do appreciate a good series or film it's nice
I don’t know I just wasn’t as big of a fan of season 2 compared to season 1. To me season 2 came off a lot more repetitive and felt a lot more poorly paced as a result. Though despite stating all of that, that final episode nearly made up for all of what to me had felt like a season 2 slog. I was just so blown away and just kept saying while watching the final episode. “Where was this Loki this entire season?” It just felt like every episode of season 2 was a retread of story beats we already experienced in season 1 for the most part. Pretty much up until the final couple of episodes, all the story beats had just felt so slow compared to season 1. It felt like it was taking 4 times as long to get anywhere each episode compared to season 1. And if hadn’t been for that final episode in season 2 I almost want to call that whole second season just a very weak story compared to season 1. Doesn’t make season 2 necessarily bad, but it just didn’t strike me as anywhere near interesting up until the ending. So I guess what I am trying to say is season 2 is still worth watching compared to the eternals, or antman quantumania.

Been wondering the exact same thing for the exact same period of time lol. I think it's for real, sadly--no troll. It's Goodbye, fun cheeky hilarious kid being totally supported by parents (I assume), w no need to please or even have sponsors; Hello, exhausted adult, shilling his millionth NordVPN commercial, w roommates and bills to pay (I also assume). I always think the stuff he does now is stuff 'Old Ralph' would've mocked relentlessly. Vibe is SO different. I get it, we all gotta grow up, but it's like his joy for life has been surgically removed.

Boris the Gulag man truly is one of the best characters in the Ralph Cinematic Universe (RCU) surpassed perhaps only by Gus the tapdancing catnip dealer. I love Mcdonalds! Chicken nugget.

Post endgame Wandavision (apart from half of the last ep) and Loki 1 were damn great the Falcon show not as top tier but fine and some great parts to Hawkeye (better then the Falcon show) was very fun and good… after that the shows fell off for me (aside for a Loki 2, 1 still way better) and on the movie side we got 2 great ones, 2 fine ones and the rest trash (I did place Doctor Strange 3 under trash which maybe harsh as there were more good moments in that then the other trash films)
Uh.......no. This series sucks. And it just got worst in season 2. Loki characterization is terrible, and it's boring! The real review: Put a chick in it and make it lame.
The reaction to people towards Loki oddly enough made me realise the reason why MCU diehard fans still exist. Most people just do NOT have good taste. Loki was legitimately a good show start to finish and yet somehow some people SWEAR it's the worst show in the world with honestly really garbage reasoning and inability to suspend disbelief. Yes, subjectivity exists, but these people never talk about the story as it is. Never about the unique cinematography. Never give any technical or honestly, any real well thought out reasoning other than the fact that it's popular to dislike MCU stuff. It's always in this... nitpicky, "i watch YT reviewers and let that be my only source of opinion and thinking" way. The same way the same types of people just eat shit up just because it's flashy and MCU and they praise things the same way. With basically no real reasoning except that they just liked it.
Really enjoyed the series honestly if they end it right there I'm completely fine. It'll be a perfect end to John majors to replace him.. If they need to c;
