Bremont makes highly engineered sport watches. All models will be ISO 3159 rated (tighter than COSC) and individually assembled at the Wing facility in the UK. The MB featured in this video was designed to withstand the forces of being ejected out of a jet. The Supermarine Chrono featured in this video has a carbon diffused proprietary steel that is 7x harder than standard steel. These are tough watches, very well designed and executed. Are they perfect? No. But I've really enjoyed the past two weeks with these models. I look forward to seeing more from this brand!

I love my Bremont Martin Baker MB III/BZ - I got it after the passing of my father in law who was a retired IAF Air commodore. It wears very comfortably and the tegimented steel is no joke - it has no single scratch after a couple of trips across the world.

This brand is PHENOMENAL in the metal! I was reluctant to try one on because I knew it would be likely to skew my collection plan. The brand has a great story. Definitely on my radar after my next goal is met.

Thanks for this review. I own two Bremonts, and they are truly tough. One was my daily for over 3 years, and there`s not a mark on it - only the strap shows wear. Beautiful, durable watches that you can actually go to a dealer and buy for a negotiated fair price. Count me in.

As an ex USAF F-16 pilot, I can tell you that it is a very short career. The human brain, unlike our other organs, can only take those enormous G- forces for a finite period. Many of us suffer seizure disorders. It is a stressful, anonymous job. Especially in the modern era of decades long wars. 351 combat missions, 3 Purple Hearts- no ejections - thank God. 🙏 😊.

thank you for your service. i worked on F-16 A,B,C,& D models at Shaw AFB in the mid eighties, a very cool jet. it had quite a few unique features, that hydrozene powered EPU was a bit different, but needed on single engine aircraft.

When I retired from the military, I purchased the ALT1-C/Black. It is from the pre-London era. Very competent watch. Having it 10 years now, never had it serviced and running about 5-7 seconds slow. Would love to see them develop their own movement at some point.

My father, in ejection seat training, they do weaker simulations. He compressed his spine enough during that time that his military records literally show as switch from 6'1'" to 5'10" lol

I owned a solo . bought it on a whim in a sale and it was a great watch at the price . Cases are first class . Finishing on the movement top class a really well produced piece . If you don’t really care about in house it’s a really great watch . Perhaps a tad expensive at full retail but great with a decent discount .

The supermarine chrono in black is amazing. Chrono, 200M, shock resistant and GMT. Perfect watch you can use for everything without worrying. Sports, adventure, casual, travel etc...

Bruce, great video. Glad you checked them out. Tough watches from a brand that is investing in manufacturing and apprenticeships in their home turf (instead of outsourcing to low cost production places). Apart from the fresh style and approachability of the owners, this is one of the reasons I have bought them and into the brand more generally. Their in-house mistake cost them dearly, but I hope they will address it. They deserve a chance given their genuine approach to investing in manufacturing - watch companies are not particularly open about production. How many showcase how their products are made? Kudos to Bremont for staying on course. Cheers.

Absolutely love my MBIII. I own more expensive watches, but my go to is my Bremont. Visit an AD, far better experience than Rolex/Omega/Breitling/Tudor etc. Go to their HQ ('The Wing') and then tell me how impressed you are. Amazing bits of kit.

The MB2 Savannah is such a nice piece and release. I love the color way. They did a lot of work to that cosc-movement, I believe they only use eta and not Selitta too.

Out of the 2 watches if I had a choice I'd go for the Supermarine Chrono, a well proven 7750 movement re-finished for the display case. It's not often we get to see the 775X movement in it's glory. The extra hard treated case would be a bonus as well. One to check out for me at the AD at some point.

Interesting video, thank you, Bruce. Another channel's host brought up four aspects of a watch: history, art, fashion and engineering. Unfortunately for newer companies like Bremont, Bell & Ross, even Hublot, they don't really have the history. Some awkwardly try to manufacture it. BUT perhaps if I had more disposable income, Bremont would be on my radar. They DO look like impressive watches.

I had two Bremont and I liked them, but they use this steel hardening which is make them scratch resistant and also makes it very easy to chip the steel. After averyday use I had a lots of dent on the edges of the watch. Other wise well made and beautiful timepieces. If they make a normal steel watch without the hardening process I will get a new one

All steel watches from Bremont are hardened. You might have to go with a titanium version of you like them

One is a sw200 and the the other is a 7750 based movement from Eta. Both are customized and finished very well. Iso 3159 rated

Unfortunately Bremont will never quite recover from "movement-gate". I find their triptych case interesting and many of their pieces are aesthetically pleasing, but very over priced.

I actually like Bremont, but hate their pricing. Also the brand story about the airplane and the farm is a little sketchy. Quality is there no doubt. I feel if they lower their prices a bit more people would talk about the brand.

I do love my MBII and would love to get the new chrono but the price is just to high......now when they are on sale at 30% or 40% off that's a different situation and then well worth the cost

I saw another well known watch channel known for his macros put a Bremont under his lens and it looked rough. The fit and finish was lacking for a watch at that price point.

I have some issues with Bremont. First, they still have the baggage of their so-called in-house movement scandal. Also, they are not based in London. That aside, they are starting to help the reinvigoration of a UK watch industry and their connection with the military is quite cool.

It is too expensive. I think Sinn is much better in the tool like aesthetic and much much affordable than Bremont.

True crappers, never ever. Tried 2 (used) and no way. And as said below movement gate. Get a Sinn or maybe even better a Shock. Doing their own thing.
