As a gift to Becca, her future daughter in law, Lori gets three custom dresses made for her to wear at the wedding. Which one is your favourite? Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 133, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
Take notes everyone, this is how a mother in law is supposed to treat her daughter in law! Obviously not everyone has that kind of budget, but that level of love and respect is what any a person should receive from their mother in law.
I personally adore my brother-in-law's parents (and their dog). If you don't have in-laws yet, I hope you are blessed with lovely in-laws in your life. :) Honestly, I don't even feel the need to seek out my own in-laws when I have my sister's, lol.
I absolutely agree. I'm praying to have a mother in law like Lori or Esme in twilight (if I'll ever feel the readiness and desire to get married) and not the type that I'd rather stay a safe distance away from or the type that'll make my life hell (if you were a Nigerian you'd understand better what I'm talking about). It's not just about finding and settling with the right person. Pray to have loving and beautiful in laws like Lori as well
Honestly Miss Lori is just one lovely lady..... Her heart in in the right place... She manages to put up with Monte too!!!! LOL Would love her as Mom or Mom in law
Becca is pure, she acknowledged the seamstress’s hard work, appreciates her mother -in-law’s gestures and Monty. I wish the very best for her. Loved all of the dresses on her
@Jennifer Davis there is nothing wrong Abt a mother praising her son. A mother should raise her son to be a gentleman. And if she did raise him like that then he is a king. Hard to find men with good manners nowadays. Nothing wrong with her statement.
@Jennifer Davis ?? She is marrying her son. She is going to become her mother in law. What do you mean marrying anyone else? Would a MIL give three dresses and speak personal words abt a bride who is not even marrying into her family or her son??
@@btsarmyforever3816 I totally agree with you. She is proud of her son AND the about to be DIL, and it's showing by her doing this for her. I mean- THREE DRESSES!! Also, ARMYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! 💜💜💜💜
@@Durufle68 It was clearly not about the money as you can see from the episode itself. Lori clearly loves her daughter in law. Go watch some cartoons and comedy, that will sooth your irritated soul
I'd love a mother in law like this, and to be welcomed into such an obviously close and loving family. She fits right in with their beautiful, genuine souls.
Lori speaks, walks, and acts like the queen that she is. Being a breast cancer survivor and being a genuinely kindhearted woman has taken her far in life. I don't know Lori personally, but I have every intention to meet her.
3:49 she is the only person, in about a zillion "say yes to the dress" videos I have seen, to acknowledge the hard work it took for the dress to be made. She is a humble and kind individual. Lori is also lucky to get such a sweet daughter in law. I hope they are all really as happy as they seem in this clip.
This is my favorite episode ever. She acknowledges the seamstress, Lori's effort to make her happy, she doesn't complain. And Lori's little "She is royalty shes marrying my son." That was adorable.
I always thought she and Monte were married for some reason.I think because of their great chemistry. (pls don't come for me with facts saying how wrong I am and how I can think that.I only saw a few episodes in which nothing of their personal life is said so far so I am left with my ideas/thoughts)
Shes so grateful, and has so much respect for the designers and Monte and Lori. Shes very sweet. My favourite dress was the Matthew Christopher blue dress.
The waistline on the bridal dress should have been higher, to accentuate the slimmest part of her waist. All three dresses were very special, though. Congratulations to Lori.
This was my favorite episode of the show. First off, it really shows how much pull Lori has in the industry and how she is seen as a business woman by the designers. Then the dresses were gorgeous. The ceremony gown was pure classic. I thought they were all breathtaking. Most importantly, I really loved how everyone worked together to make the bride feel so special and beautiful.
This just shows how good of a mother in law Lori will be ,first *they’re riding in a limo* *she got her three custom dresses* *and she has a great personality* 👏
Being a good mother in law is not only about materialistic things. You can do all that and still be a terrible mother in law. That's not to say that Lori will be one but that's not all it takes.
Elaita 1 I agree butt his shows that she really cares to make sure that everything goes well for her daughter in law. So I think that she would make a good mother in law.
This is the *first time* watching these YT bridal videos (or ever in my life actually) that I've heard a new bride acknowledge and appreciate all the hours of the seamstresses' dedicated hard work it takes to make her special dress(es). Speaks volumes about Becca's character. Mazaltov to the bride and groom!
They should definitely add a black feathered accent into her hair with the black and white dress! But I love Victorian related things, which is why I designed my bridesmaid dresses to be reminiscent of the 1890's - lavender, silk taffeta with a bussel, lavender long gloves, sausage girls, and lavender ostrich feathered fans that I made!
I wish we could all have a mother in law like Lori. "Of course she royalty, she's marrying my son" a statement all brides want to hear from their other half's mother.
This episode is definitely in my top 10!!! Lori's love for her son just oozed right onto her new daughter and her mom. Monty is the perfect friend that helps keep Lori grounded and he did a wonderful job writing everything down so nothing was forgotten. The 3 dresses were stunning as was the bride to be. What fun to have costume changes and get to wow the crowd over and over again.
I actually managed to find a Bridal dress that's VERY similar to that 2nd dress, so imagine my shock when I saw dejau! XD It's for something that I had planned for a while now, but not for my Actual Wedding (eventually). :) Either way, they were all so beautiful to see, & hope they have a loving marriage after all this.
She looks like an absolute princess in all the dresses. Though my my the blue one I wish I could wear that one every day. That is a dress you can wear after your wedding for special occasions. Congratulations and may God bless your union.
6:43 onward, you can tell the bride absolutely LOVES that blue dress. From the second she put it on, she can't stop smiling. She looks so beautiful in every dress. A wonderful gift from Lori to make her daughter-in-law feel so special.
I can’t believe how kind and good hearted the bride is she’s so appreciative of just having a wedding and loves every dress and respected everyone’s opinions and advice she’s an angel
All three dresses were STUNNING and the bride was so down to earth and even thinking about the people who worked on it(which blew me away seriously) so what an amazing episode!!
aw, I love how she fully appreciates the effort that goes into these dresses. Like she really is the sweetest. And I love how she is so in tune with her figure. It makes her THAT much prettier. I hope your wedding was everything you wanted it to be 🥲😊
I'm glad Lori got to do this for his son and very sweet daughter-in-law to be. The three gowns she picked were stunning. I was especially blown away by the reception dress. I wouldn't have even thought about having the black detail but it was the most beautiful gown I've seen that was not the "traditional" wedding white or off-white. Lori, you outdid yourself (yes, Monte, too)!
Oh my goodness- Lori and Monty, I wish you were my MIL and FIL/ fairy godfather! I honestly felt so moved seeing how happy Lori was watching her DIL try on her dress!
This is Monte, not Randy. But Randy Fenoli does make relatively affordable dresses. It's just that you have to be ready to spend somewhere between 2000-5000$
She looks absolutely stunning in all 3 dresses. Lori has excellent taste and she nailed it with all 3 designers. I'm sure the groom was absolutely dazzled when he saw his beautiful bride.
When I first read "daughter in Law" in the title, I thought it meant Lori's daughter, who works in law, not daughter-in-law. It had me thinking Lori suddenly had a lawyer daughter haha
all three dresses were beautiful, the second one was the most flattering on her, it gave her more of a waistline with the black around her middle. The other two dresses, although pretty didn't work for her figure
Omg that wedding gown is without a doubt the most beautiful breathtaking gown I have ever seen. I was in tears when she came out. The ball gown was incredible and the final dress and hat stunning. Lori now you have to show pictures from the wedding.
I was 33 when I got married, my husband 28 - so keep on believing. Married 27 years this June! Three children and my wedding day and dress were/are unforgettable.
Body types aside! She's beautiful, but the ceremony dress makes her look so much bigger than she is. As long as she's happy. The reception dress had a stunning fit.
The wedding dress would have looked better without the wall-to-wall lace. The dress was so heavy and matronly looking, like a cluttered Victorian parlor. Interestingly, the sample dress that the bride had tried on did not have lace covering the whole length of the skirt. The bottom half of that skirt was plain. Why the change? The long, lace sleeves added to the matronly effect. Instead, something like the lace shrug that Autumn Kelly Phillips wore with her wedding dress (she married Princess Anne's son Peter) would have been a better choice.
Becca is so sweet being so considerate! And Lori being so adorable and saying "I don't know if I'm gonna get through this" and Monty being sweet to both of them... My HEART ❤️
Aashi Chaudhary I agree with you. The first dress at the studio - there was less lace and it looked softer. I didn't care for the final ceremony dress.
What a lovely and adorable bride! Lori, what an appropriate and delightful thing to do for you son's bride. The ceremony dress is simply perfect for her and for a wedding! My favorite!
