There is something so special, so solemn about a traditional Christian wedding... Loved the church decor, the priest in full garb and the bride's attire, covered shoulders, veil and all. Also loved the reception 😊. Who ate all that cake tho? 😅

Loved ALL the gowns, but that Going Away 50s Mad Men Dress and Pill Box are another level, and Lori’s DIL looked FABULOUS in it. Perfect style and colour for her. I can SO RELATE to Lori’s tears, seeing her baby get married. My baby married his high school sweetheart this past September, and, on a much smaller scale, I did a number of things to help out, including their cake, sweet table(s) and fancy sugar cookies as give aways, which were all a big hit. They had an absolutely stunning fall day, a gorgeous in-and-outdoor venue, and everything went about as well as humanly possible. The greatest thing is that BOTH my DILs are truly outstanding young women, who we couldn’t love more, and who, as Lori said, adore our sons, and we now have TWO grand babies - our angels. We are blessed.

The cake was indeed spectacular, the lights, the tables, the party atmosphere, the little flower girls, that bouquet, and there is no need to even mention the dresses!
