I can imagine that being true. When I lived in Denver I met a TON of people from CA, OK, NY, etc, because of the miserable laws & the collapse of the "community."
@RU-vid Can eat it which ones? And “red” doesn’t always mean conservative. Plenty of “red” politicians that might as well be democrats. Mitt Romney fuckin sucks for example.
Austin is pretty much LA now, out of frying pan into fire if u move there from LA. The homeless issue is completely out of hand and all the cool businesses were shuttered months ago and not coming back. I just moved away after 20 years and now I live I Mexico and it’s been amazing
And it's all tech weenies with their ferraris and hi rise apartments All the cool austin businesses that made austin are gone for good Austin is just silicon valley The coolness died in 2019
@ I'm in Tepoztlán and I ain't running guns, or drugs, or humans ... I haven't seen any crime except dogs pooping in the streets Good thing it rains almost every night to clear out that crap There is a reasonable police presence and I'm not hearing of any crime so far In austin I can't say the same at all except not much dog crap there... Lots of human crap from all the homeless everywhere I haven't seen one homeless camp here at all
Boulder CO has been hit with the CA wave. They came here, infiltrated the politics, brought big tech, taxed the shit out of everything, skyrocketed rent, and made the homeless problem worse. Then they complain about CA.
Think my local elementary kicked the ice cream truck away and created their own ice cream truck was wondering why never heard the truck anymore probably said was for safety reasons
I love all these comedians who make a living off giving observations and are only now realizing LA is just rich has-beens/people who never made it.... That's the first observation most of the rest of the country gets when flying into LAX
As much as I hate RU-vid philosophically, it's worth the 12 bucks a month for premium just to never see another ad here. I hate myself for posting this but I feel your pain :)
The problem is is that no one knows how to be effectively confrontational to people who are fucking up their lives, zero personal accountability. Liberal politeness, it's not your place to judge... BS we should be judging each other all the time but out of love like how a good strong parent judges us. Anyway Im In echo park and we have at least 50 young junkies living in tents at our parks. There needs to be a system that doesn't enable people but helps them and holds them accountable. It shouldn't be against the law to be poor but it should be a violation to ruin neighborhoods and communities with gross living conditions. It's as if we respect the right someone else has to ruin our neighborhoods and communities. Makes zero sense and no one in LA wants to step up and talk about it. I've had so many conversations with friends that just end in " it is what it is" we are wise fools, children pretending to be adults. We're lame
when i was a kid my childhood cat decided it wanted to die under the deck so it was my job to crawl under and pull out the rotting corpse of my beloved pet. Ah... childhood memories.
I must admit, that I never get tired of listening to TIM DILLON! There are many brilliant comics out there but Tim stands out from among the crowd, and I truly look forward to watching EVERYTHING he does in the near future! IT'S YOUR SEASON TIM DILLON! Rumble young man rumble!
I moved out of LA in 2015 right before it went to hell. Then American Apparel went Bankrupt, Homeless started building up more and then it became the mess it is today. Before all of that I loved living there. The people didn’t seem trustworthy though which is why I left. The relationships I made didn’t seem genuine. I just loved the weather and the art and It felt like anything cool could happen. I just didn’t trust anyone there.
Give it back to Mexico. The ONLY REASON they joined the USA was FEAR OF THE MEXICAN ARMY taking them back after 6 weeks of independence. They WANTED to be a seperate country. But got THE REST OF THE USA to savevthem.... and honestly STILL drag the rest of the USA down. The US army should've left them to the Mexicans.
There were plans to break it into three- Northern Cali, the greater L.A. area, and San Diego with the Central Valley and a whole bunch of desert. The Democrats would probably never do it, because there's a good chance the San Diego state would flip red.
Austin, Texas is just the LA of the south. Ppl leaving LA are so predictable and are all sheep. First it used to be Oregon, Washington and Nevada. Now those places are full of Californians who left for cheaper housing but now those places have become the liberal hell hole with high housing prices that they left. Now the new flavors are Texas and Nashville but those places are now becoming liberal hell holes with higher housing prices and bad traffic. I think I’m ten years ahead of the curve by moving to Tampa, Fl from Los Angeles. But don’t come here either cuz then there will no place to live except for South Dakota lol
I’m thinking about moving to either New Orleans or Philly. I like grime. It makes me uncomfortable when the streets and sidewalks are spotless, and it’s all high-end shops and beautiful people. Feels fake for some reason, like an instagram world ya feel?
I was tired of being chased around and moved to Alaska. Liberals cant stand having to work hard, so they dont move to Alaska. Its just too hard to live up here. You have to work, and you have to pay bills or you will die.
People who have to move somewhere to find themselves or glom on to an energy or scene they didn't create will ruin whatever city they move to. I don't like LA but I could be happy there.
California has been the same for decades, because Rogan left now everyone else is leaving. When folks try to point that shit out the only comeback is "we have nice weather and live by some water". The vast majority of people leaving are transplants anyways. Austin is going through the same shit you're fleeing from, that's probably the worst place besides Seattle or Portland to choose.
New to your show, and definitely enjoyed this episode. I lived in LA for a total of 13 years and everything youre saying in this episode, I was saying 4 years ago. I finally moved out of LA in March of this year, at the start of the lockdown. I won't say my life is better. Its too soon to know, but its definitely the same. I work and make youtube content. So yeah, it can be done from anywhere and your viewers will follow and support. You got a new subscriber out of me. Great video.
Exactly. There's no sense in paying a big-city cost of living if you can't even take advantage of the big city amenities, particularly when it is the blue-state governors and mayors who are doing the most to take a hatchet to the middle class.
"When you're born into this world, you're given a ticket to the freak show. If you're born in America you get a front row seat." -George Carlin "It's just a ride." - Bill Hicks
Lol. So true. So many singers in particularly just keep singing and we watch them as their voice declines and they can’t hold the notes but everyone still claps bit behind their backs feels sad for them. They become a parody of themselves. Give up graceful. It’s better to go on a high when the legend was alive rather than a has been. Especially if you have a lot of money - retire and enjoy it.
I started from the oldest video and im working my way through. if you have time, i recommend doing that, otherwise literally pick any at random, they are all gold
Funny thing is, I'd likely buy Tim Dillon Merch. I've never bought 2020 Merch. The last time I bought Merch was at a Lenny Kravitz concert back in 1994.
wait... if joe rogan invited tim dillon onto his podcast... and tim dillon showed up... and joe rogan uploaded the video to youtube, and youtube published his content.... and youtube then made said content available to the world..... did you REALLY find him? or did he find you. THINK ABOUT IT
My favorite youtube page takes place in Kansas City Missouri. Its a youtube page where a gas station clerk catches shopliftrs on hidden camera. Seems like a real nice place.
From my observation something about having people live near the ocean makes them have cognitive dissonance. Leave Texas alone, don't be a rogan that talks about being a liberal but when it comes time to pay he becomes a republican. Hypocrisy has no real consequences
if only everyone knew that the major cities in texas are already on their way to being as shit as cali. ive been in texas for 6 years and its not what i was told. its not the america loving free state that i thought it would be.
