Sir, you're very learned muslim and capable to advise the muftis to think rationally dan critically in various issues plaguing the people. We need many people like you sir to make a difference in these beautiful country of ours.Salute to you sir.
Thank you Sir..been a while since your last video but yes knowledge comes first before adab. In socieety today, there are no more adab, let it be in communication or even on the road. Unfortunately leaders, politicians ignored this issue. Looking forward for your next video Dr.
Just happen to stumble upon your channel through RU-vid's recommendation. I really thought wise men like you have gone extinct here in Malaysia. Alhamdulillah, I've subscribed and turned on notification. Looking forward for more of your videos.
In the period of 15 minutes, you addressed many important issues. I feel helpless as the Malay community descends into further ignorance. At the same time, all is as Allah has willed.
These situations where we can feel insulted when our worldview is mocked, we have to deal with on a daily basis. I myself am an Atheist, it seems to me scripture mocks Atheism in a severe way. I guess I will just have accept it .
Which one comes first place , Is it Adab or is it knowledge . From the beginning way of Life before the establishment of Islam , our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him have exposed his Adab to civil society and the knowledge on the right direction .
With all due respect, on the comedy clubhouse, the incident of the girl’s performance was not the only incident that has no Adab. Second, the owner is bloody hell rich. So there is justice on the decision to close the club. In fact, in civil law, the club did not have a license to operate as a comedy house. Thirdly, guidance are everywhere as we have sekolah kebangsaan, youtube channels, and mufti even answering questions face to face. So maybe kayangan people like Sire, must come down as live with the commoners. Throw the Syed label and live with us maybe? Why on earth UMNO is to be blamed here? The incidence was not even in UMNO territory
@@nadiajr1500 it means a lot, otherwise there will be no antropology and ethnography field. otherwise. there will be no such thing like bottom-up approach, community-led, people centric or local perspective. so, to the elites, come dowm from kayangan and live like a communer. so that perspective of adab can be well uderstood ie not from a kayangan perspective. so that what does it mean by justice will not be based on what is defined by someone whose name is Syed. so that, we wont simply accuse people like what he did to UMNO. what the rich defines as justice, morally right, and even adab are necessarily the same as what the poor defines them.
@@nadiajr1500 did you even watch this video? go listen to he says with regards to the incidence. keywords: not insulting Islam, rather not knowing the right place. please listen how he separates these two keywords in Adab before commenting and asking questions. or please listen and reflect to the whole video. let me ask you this: do you think there is no need for him to live with commoners in order to discuss issues he metioned in this video? if yes, why? if no, why?
@@bantaipopulist2294 Yes, I watched and listened to this video, and I agreed with him. Dr. Syed Ali already lived with commoners when he studied and worked/works. That's why he is fluent in Malay even though he's a cross-cultural person. I know pure Malays (whose parents are both Malays) but they can't speak Malay.
The adab issue was maybe partly a manifestation of a deeper lurking 'aqeedah issue. I do concur however that the place need not be punished for this. As the Qur'an mentioned: La taziru waaziratun wizra ukhra.
Corruption of knowledge 🤔🤔, they know and understand what is right or wrong. Justice? What justice?? They have made it acceptable to propogate injustice. They have made it totally acceptable for bumiputra and muslims to insult other malaysian races and religion.
..i think that you (an many others) very wrongly using term 'muslim'. Reason why im saying this is that, one who is committing such things , as you have described, is not muslim by definition at all. On other hand, how those who doing things you mentioned, referring to themselves(in this case muslims), doesnt necessary means that they are one, as their actions shows otherwise. By equalizing those who are by act obviously not muslim, you do harm to those who are genuinely, light years away from all that madness you have described.
@@eccosabanovic1589 Very true I agree. These pseudo spiritualist hide under the banner of Islam and sadly the sheeps sheepishly follow and allow such injustice to be perpetuated onto themselves.
It is a failure to appreciate the true meaning of Surah Al Fatihah in particular the verse/line 'Idhinaas Siraatal Mustaqeem' that is the cause for the prevalence of wilful wrongdoings. If one wants to be bribed and take corrupt money, there is no necessity to pray 5 times a day and ask 17 times to be led along the Straight Path. It is so unmuslim, unislamic, hypocritical, and munafiqun to do so. And yet the same corrupt rogues who claim to champion bangsa, negara dan agama...bangsat fellas.
I beg to differ; religion is not stopped when someone commits bad things. Just because a Hindu eats a cow doesn't mean he should stop being a Hindu. If the religion says praying is a necessity to prevent one's from doing bad things, then they shall understand that a prayer is like a process; every move, every recitation without much understanding, and imperfect moves can make one's still commit bad things until he properly corrects the way he conducts his religion's teaching. In regards to corruption, it is also not because those people who fought for one language and one nation identity take bribes, but also because they live in a society that practices bribery and gives bribes. Every society plays a role in this, regardless of how pious, good, or equitable you are.
Sir, i think you sit too long in your guesthouse..go out make friends, engage with marhean citezen..you describes law by your standard but not many of us had your privileges. The core problems of our nation is the wise, good and intellect peoples comfortably condemn others by sitting on their palace. No engagement with society but dare to make assumption and judgement. I beg to differ this time, thank you...
i couldnt agree more with this comment. i too noticed his discussions were framed within his ‘palace perspective’. this video is not the first and only.
@@nadiajr1500 please listen to the video. you seem not getting the issue of Adab he mentions in this video. such as separation of insulting religion and not knowing the right place. please please please listen before asking. keep up with the pace.
@@nadiajr1500 so you listened to him? my next question is this: what makes you think he was right? which part he was right? come on, keep up the pace. this is going to be an interesting discussion.
Kaum muslimin perlu berwaspada dengan orang-orang alim munafiq sebagaimana sabda baginda Rasulullah s.a.w
I disagree. Being a Muslim. the girl should respect her religion. Any actions or words she said should be morally accepted by Islam. But she decided to insult Islam. So she deserved whatever the law has decided for her. Alhamdulillah.
