At first I thought they were censoring sections they didn't like, which really pissed me off, but then realized that they're probably trying to avoid copyright claims in hopes to make money off of Louie's stuff, and that absolutely infuriated me. Incredibly sloppy to cut midsentence; and shows zero concern for us and the comic. They can fuck right off! Reported and disliked, etc. ;)

The t(h)ree death cults are basically a mash of contradiction from start to finish in their canons. What we use now is based on whatever we have heard throughout our evolution. Quite a bit more, really. Plenty of non-Christians wrote about him, Roman records, critics... I know it's super cool teenage edgy to say Jesus was fictional but He clearly wasn't. Or if He was, then by that standard so was Nero, or St Joan of Arc, or Plato... No serious historian is going to pretend Christ never lived and didn't have disciples who claimed He performed miracles - even atheist historians who don't believe the miracles. The event of His crucifixion is as well documented as anything in 1000+ years ago history. And obviously you're a godless atheist fool so you don't think that crucifixion had anything to do with our salvation - but it was undeniably a pivotal and hugely important moment in western history. It's the basis of easily the mosy influential religion in our history, it prompted the rise and fall of empires, and the dogma and doctrine of that religion shapes our culture and civilization in myriad ways. Pretty sad that i had to explain that.
