I had a large jicama and decided to make two separate batches in the oven and two separate in the air fryer. Air fryer was a gift, its a small oven, the hype is overdone. Anyway, we loved the oven batches. I didn't pat down well enough to become crispy, but your seasoning is good, and we'll be trying it again in the future, only spend more time patting them dry beforehand. The air fryer was like it always is and we didn't care for the jicama fries compared to the oven.

you can score the jicama at the top with a knife, and then you can start peeling the skin off like how you peel an orange.

I made fries the first time and they shriveled up but we’re still pretty good. Just wish they were a little crispier. So tonight I decided to try chips. I used my potato peeler to get thin slices and they’re in the air fryer now. Crossing my fingers!

You can use a convection oven too if you don't have a airfryer

Can I just deep fry them?

I dried the jicama about 4 times, and they still came out soggy. I think I prefer just to eat them raw.

What's the oven and air fryer temperature?
