Link's nair stays out that long because it's the only move in the game with no flag for the hitbox ending, so the hitbox ends on the same frame as the endlag by default (frame 39). Funnily enough, its IASA frame (frame 36) comes 3 frames sooner than the move ends so you can effectively cancel it like a street fighter normal.

Here's another cool fact about Link: Once a character grabs ledge, almost every character has to wait 7 frames before they can act out of the ledge grab animation and do whatever you want to do from ledge. But for some reason, Link only has to wait 3 frames before he can drop away from ledge, so he can ledgestall with full intangibility and do ledgedashes a lot faster than almost every other character.

Love how when that one Ness player sets up the yoyo, the commentators react, clearly knowing where this is going.

Well hey, low-tiers need to have some things that make them unique. Yahoo.

Here's a really cool one you missed: Game and Watch can't be down-thrown by a bunch of characters, but only if he has port priority. For some reason, if the other player has port priority, dthrows that cause you to come into contact with the ground (a few examples being all 3 Mario Bros, Samus, and Yoshi) will cause Game and Watch to just hit the ground and immediately go into a techchase, similar to what Fox and Falco's dthrow does naturally. For many characters, GnW can tech roll away before they are even out of lag. So let's take Doc for example. If Doc has port priority, Doc has a dthrow->fair kill confirm from about 60% to about 10,000%. He also has combos off of dthrow and getting grabbed in general is super dangerous for GnW. But what about if GnW has port priority? Doc's dthrow now will put GnW on the ground, which he can tech in place dtilt before Doc can do anything except shield. He can also tech roll away for a full reset to neutral, so Doc's grab becomes pretty much useless in most situations. Doc loses his bread and butter way to kill Game and Watch, and the matchup completely changes, all because of which ports you decided to plug your controller into.

What most people don't know, even from this video, is that G&W judgement numbers also reset after every stock. That's how you can do multiple 9's in a row. Which means, after every stock, your first judgement has the best chance of giving you a good number, including 9. It's worth going for.
