Well.. 1. That oil pan won’t clear subframe or sway bars. 2. Bell housing on the Audi transmission is too small even for a 153T ring gear. The problem is the Audi bell housing bolt circle diameter is barely wider than the Audi ring gear which is 296.4mm diameter. I’m doing some research on a similar approach for long term, but for now I think I may rock the Audi starter until I get something more concrete. Regardless I’ll post a video with what I come up with. 3. I could solve #2 by making the adapter thicker but then they defeats the purpose of using this B8 transmission. Which is to have an engine sitting as far back as possible for handling etc.
Hey mate...question let say my tranny ID pwz but i am seeing pwy in abundance with all the numbers match just the last letter difference yea would it fit? Keep in mind that its all 7speed.
There’s usually differences in the Mechatronic units, so it’s always best to get the same year and the same 3 letter code. Otherwise you might have to pay for someone to recode the mechantronic unit. What’s wrong with you current one?
@@projectLSaudiA4 my shift fork has been damaged from the previous owner...my car is a 7speed dsg ....i cant find code pwz but i am seeing pww,pwy,NHL and pju all variant of the 7speed....i don't mind getting it reprogram i am just not sure if they can fit .
@@teachingdaily3612 I’m not an expert on Audi dual clutch transmissions. Maybe get ahold of this guy. His RU-vid channel is “GigiBelea AKA Jax” I’ve seen plenty of videos of his work and he seems to be fair and honest but I have no prior experience of his workman ship keep in mind.
