dear mark, i have always thought lucy was innocent for many reasons! a trial slanted against lucy by a gender imbalanced jury, 8 of whom were women in an emotive case, which would have tugged at the maternal instincts of them & therefore having a feeling of revulsion towards lucy! also, why were there only 11 jurors present on the day of the jury's decision? was the 12th juror a dissenting voice against lucy's so called guilt, or was he the juror who told people that the verdict of 'guilty' had already been made before the trial had even begun!! the bullying, homosexual prosecutor acted unprofessionally towards lucy, who was probably traumatized from the moment she was arrested up until & including the trial!! she may have been given a sedative against her will to keep her calm at the trial!! a naive jury, of whom none were probably involved in the medical profession, were seduced by an oscar winning show from the 'superstar' prosecutor but it was more performance over substance but it convinced the jury that lucy was guilty! for me, lucy was the scapegoat in a massive hospital cover up to protect the names & reputations of the hospital consultants & management & she was the sacrificial lamb that saved their bacon! (mixed metaphor!) after all , who would the police believe? reputable managers & doctors or a humble, white, working class, heterosexual, hard working, female nurse? my description of her was deliberate, because of any prejudices which may have been held against her!! mark! the reason i am writing to you is A) your report has further increased my belief that lucy is innocent & B) i think you should contact pm, keir starmer, formerly with the CPS with this report & your own input & stress the need for him to use his powers to grant lucy at least a re-trial to challenge the original 'guilty' verdict! not the sentence - which becomes irrelevant without a guilty verdict!! this is a definite miscarriage of justice along with the guilty verdicts in the cases of the sub post office workers, andrew malkinson & yesterday, the ridiculously severe sentences handed to the 'JUST STOP OIL' protesters!! you don't have to reply to me but i believe doctor jayaram is involved in some large way with what happened! two things which didn't get discussed in court was the name of lucy's married doctor boyfriend & the smell of sewage which pervaded the hospital! this could have led to the babies deaths or wrongly administered or out of date, medicine approved by a doctor, which again could have killed them! it is quite possible that nobody knowingly killed the babies but allowing lucy to take all the blame, was convenient & saved the hospital from being closed! all this is just my opinion but i don't think i am far off with my assumption - talking of which, just because a jury finds someone guilty, doesn't mean they are!! especially if there wete no witnesses & only circumstantial evidence!!! i could go on but i shall close with this quote; 'trust little of what you hear & less of what you see'! all the best!!!

if you had thought of giving up on lucy i want to let you know that i have no intention of not fighting on her behalf!! i'm not really computer literate, which means i can't make contact with the people i would like to, who may take an interest in this injustice! however, i shall contact my local mp & keir starmer, if it's possible but i have no faith in starmer, who has become the best tory leader the uk has ever had!!!!!!! atb! How come a malicious gossip and narcissist likeJayarum is involved with kids. is he like another Saville type person . Is it usual for somebody like him to be so deeply involved with maternity and baby settings.

Once all the hype dies down in these publications, it's unlikely that she will be freed. These publications touch very little on the research that was gone into the Letby case and the cross examination against her. They are now saying that the New Yorker article is a biased way of looking at the case and doesn't even consider the reasons why she was convicted, it was just fully in support of her
