Those first slugs shot like rifle rounds! Great accuracy, especially at those speeds. I live in KY too, and seeing you guys sit and shoot in those weeds has me checking MYSELF for ticks! Lol!
Great work, keep hammering on those loads until you get some tack drivers. Various combos, speed variations, wads-which seem to be the serious shortfall in shooting all these hollow skirted type slugs. Seems we all do great for a bit then wad failures of one nature or another. Need somebody to come up with a consistent platform for those Lyman 525 gr Sabots
You might get slightly better results with the Federal clones made by Downrange Wads. Grafs has them. They don't have the ridges on the petals. Have you ever filled the bases of the slugs with hot glue? Thanks for the content!
I have some tannerite 22 cal. Pellets made by Kvintor (Flash) that explode on impact. Just to put an idea in your head that maybe can be duplicated in a shotgun round
