This is ingenious acting, it is insane how sharp and on point the Macho Man is at all times. This goes beyond any acting performance and is true art. People believed in these characters, it is gold, these great performers deserve respect. Like the repect Japanese people have for wrestlers. I love Japan in general come to think of it, we should adopt more of their ideals.
I love how Macho Man talks! It's addictive. He was quick-witted as hell too. I also like how Arsenio Hall actually seemed interested in what Randy Savage was saying unlike most late night talk show hosts. Unlike most late night hosts Arsenio actually let his guests finish talking instead of cutting them off.
Watching this, I realize that The Man doesn't get enough credit for his comedic timing. Freakin hilarious, and on the ball with comeback and one-liners. His promos and interviews have been some of the funniest moments in the WWF. RIP, Macho Man.
the brilliance of this video (and the Macho Man) was that unlike some stars of the glory era (like Ultimate Warrior etc etc), you can tell that even though he acted insane, he most definitely wasn't - he was a very aware and smart guy. Just the way he reacts in this interview shows he knows exactly what's going on at all times - even though he is dishing out the "Macho Madness". Just an amazing character, phenomenal athlete - he was simply the total wrestling package. Never be forgotten.
What a total legend, I grew up watching him. He was a pioneer and made wrestling what it is today. A true entertainer and comedy genius at the same time. Randy Savage will never die because as he said "is the cream of the crop and the beat goes on, the beat goes on, the beat goes on and the beat goes on".
My time in heaven will mostly be spent just listening to Randy Savage talk. Just talking about anything. It doesn't matter what he talks about, it could be a baking recipe but it will still sound awesome.

He was unique and performing at peak efficiency throughout his entire career. I wonder how he really was in everyday life but as a performer, he was an example to follow.

RIP "Macho Man" Randy Savage (1952-2011). Perhaps the biggest shame and tragedy to come from this is we will never get to hear that legendary Hall of Fame speech we've been waiting for all these years. Today truly marks a very sad day for wrestling and is a damn shame.

I am a very big WWE fan randy "Macho Man" savage was a ledgend I hadn't herd of till about 2005 when he was a hall of fame inducte I was 10 at the time and I herd he was in WWF/ WWE for about 40 yars untill his unfortunate death. I loved him and he will be sorely missed
If u ask me, he was on another level than hulk hogan, i mean the outfits, the shades, the personality, and the VOICE. I also read that he put over a lot of wrestlers in the WWE and WCW. RIP Mr. Savage. Gone but will never be forgotten. PS: I only wish I got to see just a lil bit of the Golden Era

My dad had to correct me by saying his name wasn't Slim Jim, but that just proves the mark he left even on toddlers. Condolences to the Poffo family. Eternity beckons the Macho Man.
