Awesome Alan! Looks like the ghost of Captain Cuttler’s diving helmet from scooby do where are you, one of my favorite episodes! Thanks for this amazing video! You are awesome ❤️ 🤘🏻🎃🤘🏻
I subscribed with your spray foam pumpkin video. I just shared this video on Pinterest and I'm going back to share the pumpkin video on Pinterest as well. Love your channel so far!
That's Mr. H for ya.... Dives right in like a true metal head!!😊. Besides the monkey, the bear trap, and the vines, this is my new fav!! Thank you for another exciting and awesome how to, 👍👍
Last week cleaning the basement I found my big GI Joe deep sea diver helmet so this was cool. This was fun to watch with some great tips as always. THANKS!
Great project! Reminds me of that Scooby Doo episode. I could almost here Stillbeast say … "and I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for those meddling kids"!
LOVE THIS!! Was searching for a DIY Diving Helmet just 2 weeks ago-- you didn't have it up yet. So, I watched some others, but YOURS is the BEST !! Thank you! ❤️ Btw, Please make a Kit for this 🙏🙏 I'll take one right now! ❤️
Looks great! I've always loved Mark 5 dive helmets. I made a wearable one out of fiberglass.. milk crates.. Plumbing parts..plastic light dome..and wing nuts.💦
I wonder if a flower pot or 5 gal bucket might work. The shape of the bucket at least fits the Wiley Post style vintage space suit helmet. You are the best inspo.
I just recently found your channel .. I have been watching Monster tutorials .. Prop mob.. for a long time.. This is one of the coolest videos I've seen so far I need to go back and watch like all your videos of course but this is awesome... I really like that you use stuff that anyone could use.. I've always been into Halloween and doing cool stuff like taking skeleton skulls and corpsing them . This is cool I really love the channel.. And has given me some cool ideas to bond with my oldest (teenage) daughter she is into the Halloween for life lol ..
Thank you for the kind words! Monster Tutorials Edwardo was a Monster Camp student a few years back- great guy! EVA foam is great for masks, it is so durable and light weight. Glad you are enjoying the videos and thank you for tuning in!
@@StiltbeastStudios Can I get some info on your camp I live in Washington State but me and my wife would love to attend and make stuff!! Is there a place I can go to sign up . Thank you for responding back ..

Posting dates on our website, facebook page and Instagram. and we’ll post it here, too.
I’ve been wanting a dive helmet for decor in my nautical themed bathroom and didn’t want to pay those high $$$ for a replica of one or those little 9” ones. I might try this on a slightly smaller scale…tho I’m worried it might not look as good as yours. Thanks for the video! New sub’er here and have been enjoying your past videos!
Whoo hoo! Knives! I have issues... Two sharpening stations and I am looking at the rod one you use and need a third sha, no, fourth sharpener. I also need more guitats
My wife got that for me for Christmas! I think it was an Ebay grab! this is my favorite shirt- I designed it! stiltbeast-studios.creator-spring.com/listing/get-magnetism?product=369
I was surprised that you didn't use the faux copper patina spray paint. It looks so real , not that weird blue you used. I'd even consider using textured spray paint in places like the shadows. Pretty cool build though
This is absolutely amazing. Plus having a t-shirt with beast-man on it? GOLDEN! The only tiny criticism I have to give is the chewing gum for the voice-over. That is a no go :D Anyway, your stuff always looks super cool! Keep up the great work, man!

Last year, I went to Elf Fantasy Fair and it was raining all the time. There was hardly any place to take shelter in the park, so we were soaked to the bone. I think I'm gonna make a helmet like this, and then combine it with a bicycle rain suit. Perhaps add a harpoon gun, and I have a costume that's funcional as well!
U said u were wanting gold,(and I get it. It's a display piece) but Navy driver helmets are actually made from copper and brass... so your paint worked out!
Really beautiful work, Alan! Bravo. Wearing that on your head as you did, you looked like Caiaphas from the film "Jesus Christ Superstar". 😁 Question: What in your experience is the difference in using Leak Seal vs. Plasti-Dip? They're similar products, sure. But do you use either product in a different application, or are they both essentially the same in your shop?
Hi Guys. I’ve noticed that you work with contact cement extensively. My stepfather was a cobbler who worked with contact cement everyday. Several years ago he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (cancer of White Blood Plasma Cells). The doctors suspected his frequent use of contact cement had caused the myeloma. It’s extremely difficult to treat and he has to have chemotherapy for the rest of his life. I would hate to see anybody else fall to this cruel disease. Please consider using protective equipment when using chemicals. It may save your life.
We do use it a lot, luckily we are in a well ventilated shop and we dont use it everyday. As I get older Im getting more and more aware of exposure to these chemicals and its always worth considering the safety aspect of wirking with them. thanks again for putting my focus on safety.
