Hi!! I'm from Argentina, and we produce handcrafted soap, but with our recipe the soap solidify very quickly so we can't enough time to mix it. Can you share the recipe o the percent of NaOH you use?? Thanks you!!!!!

Love seeing all this promotional stuff, make your money boo! You earned this! You worked so hard for this and I’ve loved your videos since the beginning, they really helped me through my depression when my father died. Wishing you and your family all the success and joy in the world ❤️❤️❤️

Impressive Frank was making me nervous when you tapped him and he moved. 🥺 Take care of your back. I’m a hard worker like you and it’s sometimes hard to let someone else pick something up or do work for you. But don’t push it. I’m in my 50s now and I realized there has to be a balance with exercise and recovery time. ✌🏽

Hey Ariane, I'm so proud that you have the opportunity to upscale your equipment. You deserve all the blessings that come your way. This was intimidating to see for me as well...I kept visualizing the pot tipping. I'm so happy everything worked for you. JoAnna from Soap Gal is an amazing inspiration as well. You handle things well under pressure. Keep inspiring!

This was the most fun I've had watching soapmaking in a long time. :-) It was so fun to see you work with this huge batch and we all know you already make large batches. The soap tipper is definitely the way to go! I tried to double my batch sizes for a while but it was just too physically awkward. I guess I'd better start a soap tipper savings fund. Thank you for sharing with us Ariane!

I'm surprised there isn't a lock mechanism on the tipper to keep it in place until you are ready to pour! That would make me so nervous. Very happy to see you doing so well and scaling up production. :-)
@ArianeArsenault
@ArianeArsenault 5 лет назад
Katherine Tuckett there is a lock! You can lock it loose or in full and then unlock it when you are ready to pour! I was just kidding when I said “don’t tip over” cause it’s a big batch... but these pot tippers are top notch safe and high quality professional equipment

Hey Ariane! I'm a little behind on the video's. Lol ; ) OMG, I was nervous as a cat watching you pour everything in the huge pot and seeing it rock!! Seems like there would be some type of a "locking mechanism" on the pot while you add all the ingredients and then you could unlock it when you wanted to pour into the molds. I was waiting for your assistant to come over and at least hold the pot steady during the pour too. Whew...so glad it worked out! What a monster pot! Can't wait to see the cutting next! Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xo : )

what size was the 'smaller' stock pot that the color was in? Anyone know if you can heat the soap base pre lye for cold process then reheat another day when you want toadd the lye water mxi? And store it in same steel pot til you do? I know people rebatch soap but I don't want to assume anything since haven't done that...thank you.

Shalom Arianne! There is a question I keep asking myself about cleaning the pots and pans used in the soap making. So much oil is used in the process, i am thinking that the drain pipes of the sink might get clogged overtime. What is your cleaning system?

Just an FYI, that bolt that tightens the pot and keeps it from moving does wear out. Do not "trust" the bolt to not move it. Always work safely as if it can tilt at anytime.
@sharondonelow5364
@sharondonelow5364 5 лет назад
Great job on your review! The soap you made looks pretty awesome with all of the local natural ingredients you used. It seems like you might have been less nervous to use that big pot tipper if it had a better stop mechanism. Even after you turned the bolt it was pretty tippy. I love The Soap Gal, and I noticed hers does that too. That makes me nervous just watching you gals pour things into it when it moves! Hopefully the stainless steel paddle was just an oversight and they will eventually send one to you. Have fun with your new 'toys'! I'm sure the people getting the monthly boxes will be thrilled to find your soap in there! Will you be selling that particular soap in your store as well? Love your videos Ariane, you are quite an inspiration! :-)

Hello, perfumer chemist here, you should always add your essential oils or perfumes at the end of the saponification just before the trace because most of the caustic soda will then be used in the saponification process. For example Lavender oil contains 40% linalool and 40% linalyl acetate as main components ; but,linalyl acetate being an esther, strong alcali will saponify it and degrade it and you will lose its olfactory character. Same for Bergamot, Petitgrain ,Lavandin or a Jasmine composition. Your soap will gain olfactory strength and stability.

Question, using the brand materials that you promote or you use for your products, is it cost efficient to used them and make money? Or would you use a more industrial brands in able to make your products competitive? Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thank you.
