I think the previous intro for Film Riot was much better than this one. I preferred the style of that over the new one. In addition, the new one seems like it was created in a rush, some of the animation is not that good and looks really basic (no secondary action) which takes out a bit of the coolness of the intro. This is mostly obvious at the end when the Film Riot logo drops to stage, you can see there is something off with it. Still love the show and watch you religiously, just wanted to give my 2 cents since you've asked for opinions :)

I like the Short, but the scene where Josh is falling down doesn't look to great in my opinion. He is falling to fast but there is very little motion blur. Also when he hits the ground it looks like there are some frames missing and then he jumps to the right. But overall good job :)

You're right, it would have looked way more realistic if they had calculated his acceleration and the pixel distance he had to travel per frame (wouldn't be that complicated as it sounds)

I have to say I love the film. My only gripe with it is the shot where josh is falling. I don't know, it just seems like there's not enough motion blur. Other than that the film was awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing more short shorts.

Uploaded on my birthday! I have recently discovered you guys and I think you are awesome. I am a beginning film maker and actor. I have made a few short films with family, the first few were just for fun- and then I got really into it- right now I am doing a series of superhero themed ones. I think your videos are very helpful and entertaining. I do have a couple of questions- Where are you guys at? I saw it said Texas on the license plate, but I was just wondering. And second- How do you all know each other? But anyway- awesome videos and please, don't stop making them anytime soon.

I have the same reaction Josh had to the train everytime it does it here. In my little town I'm in, there is a track that cuts right through the middle, and when a train comes you can't get around it. And it's stopped a few times like that. Its annoying AF!

Super encouraging to know GH4 footage could be mixed with RED footage lol. I've been shooting on the GH4 for a while now... what lens would you suggest for a wide angle? They're kind of hard to find because of the crop sensor, but you seemed to pull it off well! Also, did you go natural, cine d, or cine v? Thanks Ry guy!

Are you guys downgrading the files to a more edit friendly codec/res when doing your Post Effects pipeline, or just compositing the Raw 6K files. What is your pipeline when it comes to that, and then on to the Coloring/Grading process? Thanks!
