4.9.19 | by Adam LoudlabsNYC | A driver was pulled over and arrested for possession of a retractable baton around 6 pm Tuesday, at 86th St & 5th Ave, in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. Unknown if there are other charges involved. The 68th Precinct plainclothes anti-crime unit took him into custody and transported him to the 68th Precinct. His female partner was not arrested.

A baton???? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of!!! If he had a baseball bat or a machete in his car, he would have been legal!

It’s serious in New York! A security guard can’t carry one either. Don’t carry any firearm without a permit never carry a knife. It is legal to carry pepper spray in New York

@@Sequel7 That's bad.. I use to live in bay ridge, 86th street and third avenue, back in the 1970s I kept several guns in my apartment. I always carried a knife. Everyone I knew back then did. I'm glad I left in 78. New York will never be the same...
