It’s disgusting how some ppl wish nothing but the worse for this guys recovery. He seems wholesome and well spoken. I understand if you think the procedure is ridiculous, but all the hate is just ppl projecting their own insecurities. Even if he is promoting this, he didn’t want to initially but his name/face got leaked and now he’s left to explain himself.

Y'all need to relax...The guy who owns the rehab center he was at did 20cm and looks okay. And he achieved it with 3 surgeries. He's knee bending range of motion isn't that great but he walks just fine.

I can't judge. I know women who won't date men shorter than them. To me that's like a guy now wanting to date a woman who doesn't have a particular boob size. At 40 years old, and 5'4" I've never been held back by my height. Dont know if I would have ever done this surgery as I just accepted who I was and became ok with it. Maybe if I was younger it might be something I would have considered. Good on this man tho, for doing what HE wanted to do with HIS life. And this is no different than any other type of body modification. Woman do their boobs, hips, butt, tummy ticks, lips and cheeks and this man only did one thing for himself lol

Essentially I wouldn’t be able to work or go to school, and would need assistance with daily life for most part of the year. $60,000 surgery cost. I was like, All that for 2 inches? .. I’m good…this was 9 years ago, and I’m at peace with my leg length now.

I don't think there was sergeants that were successful and doing bbl's and breast implants for women in the 1920s. 😊 People like him pave the way.! I hope this guy fully recovers, but I seriously doubt he will. I don’t think people realize what he has done to himself, he literally crippled himself to get taller. I really hope I’m wrong about this for his sake but he’s probably going to have a rough time as he gets older. I think he might have a grace period for a few years while he’s still young, but in his 50’s and beyond he will start to have a lot of problems. Please people, don’t get this surgery if you feel bad about your height, it’s easier in the long run to be at peace with yourself than in pain. If you want to feel taller, don’t pay a bunch for a crippling surgery, just wear lifts with think soles shoes if it means that much to you.

I see what you're saying. But bear this in mind. In the 1920s you never heard of bbl's or breast implants. Now in our modern society it's common. With advancement in medicine and technology, this can be more common practice and they'll be less medical complications down the road. But If there's not a demand for these type of operations, then we can't study the results to make improvements. I would like to follow up with him on his journey and see if operations like this are worth it.

I'm 5'11 and wish I could have this done. Very costly though, plus it looks painful and a long recovery. Interesting that Turkey is one of the top countries where this is performed. I was raised in Turkey and I don't remember height being an obsession in their culture the way it is in America. I guess anything to bring in that medical tourism.

no disrespect to this man, but: never do this, be happy with what you have. Your legs are going to be bothering you anyway as you get older, there's no sense speeding up the process and feeling crippled before you have to. Even if it heels 100% and you feel perfectly fine after this, no doubt it's going to come back to haunt you a decade or so later. And I'm not against surgeries in general or wanting to look and feel your best. But you do not mess with your legs like this.
