I used to work at a dominos in downtown in a city. A coworker got mugged at gunpoint right before christmas. Shortly after, I was assigned a delivery to a house whose "delivery instructions" were a threat that if I rang the doorbell he'd shoot. Truly, any job that requires going door to door is absolutely terrifying.
Very true nowadays “fighting” isn’t a real thing it’s violence it’s people wanting to hurt you not solve a situation that can’t be handled with words I really hope this message gets through to a few hoodlum high school kids who love to fight FIGHTING ISNT REAL in todays world there is no honor in our world unfortunately
Exactly. People in the country are so angry but unwilling to accept the reality of why things are bad, would rather stay in denial, and have collectively run out of scapegoats aside from the ones they are too fearful to challenge (ie. capitalism, corporations, their own political parties, etc). They just want any outlet for their violent rage.
It's crazy how right he is. I work retail and we had to ask Doordasher to politely leave because he was cussing at the cashier. The cashier was with another customer and the dasher was being impatient. The dasher then proceeded to call the store multiple times, complaining about the cashier with threats saying "I'll come back and handle it myself" so naturally we called the cops because we didn't know what he meant by "handle it himself" people are nuts
I had to drag a guy out of a Jimmy John's because he was threatening a 16 year old Shit was ridiculous and like I can't actually figt back all I can do is restrain him until police arrived its so insane
@@StickyKeys187you gotta be careful as hell in today’s day and age. the guy or his family presses charges despite being the evil assholes and lawyers will call out any thing excessive
It's always been like this. Since i was a kid. We just had paper and pen, dial up Internet, giant film cameras with lead acid batteries that were super expensive, lack of social media, bag phones that cost .25/min to use and 13 TV channels and news like this would STAY in the neighborhood. Not be all over the Internet. . This type.of news wasn't big enough to make the news. Now everything is exposed every day no matter the level of stupid.
No you're absolutely wrong. Living in the US has gotten more violent and dangerous than the last 2 generations before it. Or do you have selective amnesia of all those "back in my day, we would leave the doors unlocked in our town" tales? Clearly both can't true. The only two places I can think of that might've "always been like this" is South LA and West Virginia.
@@mollusckscramp4124 As a matter of fact, both CAN be true. Most people do not start locking their doors because the situation is getting worse, but because more news about what is going on elsewhere is reaching them. The news scares them, so they THINK they have more reason to lock their doors. That said, I am only pointing out the possibility here. I don't have the figures to prove or disprove that violence is on the rise. Mainly because I don't care. Everyone needs to deal with the reality of their time; how that time compares to other times is irrelevant for the way people live.
@@mollusckscramp4124Violent crime has gone down significantly over the past 30-40 years wym?? While media coverage on violent crime has gone wayyyy up.
very good advice! I was involved in a road rage incident involving a little school bus driver. Yup, a school bus driver of the little bus for disabled children. I think the bus was empty at the time, but who knows? From now on, it’s “do not engage with rage.”
Yeah definitely darwin award but couldn’t imagine throwing your life away this easily. That doesnt justify the fact that any other silent weapon could have been brought to the fight.
I've had several people this year chase me down in their car and threaten to kill me for merely passing them on the road. On the 6th time this August, I had two guys working together to try and drive me off the road or into on-comming traffic. What's hilarious is that they threatened to call the cops, as if the cops would side with the people trying to kill someone for merely ATTEMPTING to pass one of them on the road. It's fucking scary.
New Hampshire, I noticed that since I switched from a SUV to a sedan people don't get nearly as angry. It's insane to think that an SUV would elicit so much more rage in people. No one cares if I pass them in a small car, but suddenly if I'm in a SUV it's like I've just committed a war crime.
@toasty666 I don't think legally and safely passing a person is an issue just because people feel insulted that I don't like being behind them. Regardless, if an erratic or dangerous driver decided to pass me to get away from me, the last thing I would think to do is get angry at them and try to keep them behind me... I hope most sensible people feel similarly. Furthermore, I drive the exact same way but in a smaller car now and I dont encounter a fraction of the road-rage that I did prior. Bigger cars have different connotations to a lot of people apparently, so much so that the same behaviors are interpreted completely differently based purely on the type of vehicle. People are fucking weird man.
This reminds me of a psychopat from Netherlands that I had an argument with a month ago, he wanted to come and "fight" me because I did a joke about his keyboard, the joke was "that keyboard has seen better days" he went full agresive mode with all kind of slurs and threatening violence ,the guy doesn't seem to have anything going on in life but playing videogames and probably doing drugs I even tried to deescalate the situation by saying that my keyboard was worse and I was just doing a little joke ,some people are just that pathetic and petty it's better to ignore and move on as I did
Great! They are leeches and shouldn't be able to take a free ride on the back of other peoples content. RU-vid is pathetic for not moderating its content more.
The "victim" was trolling a seemingly insane individual, mocking him in the messages, then proceeding to meet with him for a fight (this could've easily ended the other way round, with the suspect being murdered). He wasn't a victim, he was an online tough guy who effed around and found out (assuming that we're not missing any context).
To add insult to injury, that online tough guy was not killed by Tanner. He was killed by his own friend in a spray and play incident. Tanner showed up unarmed.
Yea expressing opinions is effing around and finding out . Youre a danger to society if you use the phrase eff around and find out regularly. Human life is precious
@@clalam5241 "fucking around" is not merely the expression of opinions. It is intentionally provocative behaviour of any kind. FA/FO is a civilian deterrent for misconduct.
Something so similar happened to a kid who went to highschool with me. He sent a laughing emoji reacting to a pic of 4 guys, they started arguing and agreed to meet up to fight, the kid who sent the emoji didn’t even get out of his car before the other guy shoved his gun through the passenger window and shot him 2 times. It is heartbreaking the lengths people will go to over something as small as a FUCKING EMOJI.
It's hard to feel bad for people like that, because how are you that naive in 2023, did he really think they were gonna meet up and do what, fight? Nobody fights anymore, thought everybody already came to this conclusion .
There are times that I feel I will die alone and never find someone to be happy with. Then I learn that someone like this was able to get a girlfriend and my hope is restored.

I think that's a good sign to show people that blind loyalty to your friends is not exactly a good trait to have. You bet your ass I'm calling the guy a fucking idiot and to get help.

This is one of the reasons why people need to stop spreading the lie that no one is truly evil. Evil is extremely common & often not even hidden but people choose to ignore it & gaslight smarter saner people into being as delusional as them. It gets people killed. Some people just want you dead & are willing to ruin their own life to make it happen.
You're so right about how people are overreacting to nothing anymore. I couldn't even imagine killing another human being for some of the things people are getting worked up about. We live in a very scary world where you can't feel safe in your own home or driving down the road, going to a mall, etc. Take care and be very vigilant everyone.

Because liberals allow and encourage blacks to behave this way to get what they want you're now going to see Whites doing it too. Keep applying double standards on society and see how things turn out.

People like this kid have flooded the internet entirely. Instagram, Facebook, RU-vid… I commented on an Instagram post celebrating someone that overcame an eating disorder and someone called me a “slut wife” that “acted like I know everything”. I was actually shocked. It’s so bizarre. People are terminally online and are absolutely insufferable.
atp idk if we should let terminally online people offline. because clearly they can’t handle themselves irl. (probably terminally online for a reason lol)
that sucks,, yk i think things like making it okay to mock others if theyre weird or different online and the depersonalization of individuals def doesnt help... i remember someone telling me online once that i was "the reason kids sh00t up schools" ... because i was percieved as weird and dressing odd. but we've normalized to a certain degree that mockery and harrassment because "its just one comment, plus the person is weird, plus they shouldnt be online anyways, if they were gonna post they should be ready for hate too" ykwim

Just an update for those coming in late: Tanner was acquitted of all 9 of his charges by his judge. Tanner's lawyer filed for this acquittal after the jury could not come to a unanimous decision.
A couple of years ago I commented on a girls fb . I commented "thats a good picture of you". About an hour later I got a call from her ex boyfriend who told me he was going to come home to me.. and that he had killed before. I was like wtf.. Crazy times.

You sure spoke the truth. When I was growing up it was just a fist fight then we'd laugh about it later. Today it's someone has to die. The world turned into a very violent place. Sad.
America's pussified delusion in the hood that having a gun and shooting someone somehow makes you more tough and badass, when in reality it just highlights how insecure and scared they are to actually fight.
I find it funny how these “tough” guys who are ready to throw down over nothing don’t realize how sensitive they’re actually being by reacting to any troll. A real tough guy turns the other cheek with a grin.
The ego of man can truly be a horrible thing Remember people spread love, argue non violence and try to enjoy life I hope you have an amazing day regardless of how you feel right now

A friend of mine had an altercation at a bar that lead to them meeting up and fighting. Quit trolling on twitter for this reason. Used to get into all kinds of sports banter on there, but not anymore. Can't speak for other countries, but the US is completely desensitized to death and tragedy. Road ragers should permanently lose their licenses and serve at least 10 years in prison just for being mad at nothing. They're clearly not stable humans. And if their rage evolves into murder, give them life in prison. Easy fixes if you ask me.
It is honestly insane how people think they are about to be murdered by literally any person approaching their home. I saw something the other day where a guy put up a big warning post online saying to not ding dong ditch because some kids did it to him and he had his gun and was ready to shoot the kids that did it. I live in BFE on the highway. My family has been here since the 50s. Weird things happen. Once oh about 50 years ago, a young black dude pulled in, driving a beater. My grandfather was a bit of a racist. He went out to see what was up. The dude was lost and very upset, and also deaf. I just keep my mouth shut in public and don't say a word online really. It's not worth meeting people and being human anymore if I'm putting my life on the line doing so.
that's the real tragedy, that we sacrifice our humanity just to stay safe, in turn creating more distrust and tension. Society's reached a point of no return.
I had this happen to me when I was younger. About 16 years ago, I got into a fuss over a guy over a girl. The guy said that he wanted to meet somewhere to fight. He didn't pull out a gun, but brass knuckles, which may not see as bad, but it would it could have possibly killed me with the guy being around 6'4 and weighing around 300 pounds, which I'm around 5'9 weighing around 170. I was like a little chihuahua going after a dinosaur. Glad his friends who were with him (who were friends of mine too) told him that he was chicken for pulling that kind of stunt and we both walked away, glad we did.
Over a girl? Yikes... She was probably fucking someone else while the 2 of you fought. Any time another chick tried to fight me over a dude, I told her she could have him because I already had too many hoes, (and it was true. He never kept up with her because I think he just wanted the attention). However, i was willing to fight a chick for disrespecting me over a dude. Once i made it clear that I didn't give a shit about the guy and I was gonna kick her teeth in for being reckless, the other chick always backed down. Guess they just wanted the guy that didn't want them back or something...
I definitely agree with you on how everyone appears to be on edge and looking for ANY reason to use voilence. Idk how or why this all started but its crazy and these people clearly arent in their right minds to begin with. My freedom and my life are much more important than if my so called pride gets hurt or someone insults me. Who cares? This literally has no effect on your life, just LET IT GO. Violence is never worth it, especially with how like you said there are no fair fights, someone always ends up stabbed or shot.
It’s the covid shots and booster shots bro, natural adrenaline is being pumped through the ROOF constantly due to it in most people now. disprove my point if you think otherwise.
I know. Another thing I know is I don't believe I was quite THIS dumb even at 20. I often have wobdered whether people are getting dumber, or else whether we just have more access to these kinds of stories now because of technology (internet, etc.).

it wasn't even a fight worth fighting for. it just the side shock of the zeitgeist of the time. meaning that for every solution or event in general, there's going to be a downside and this chaotic chaos energy of existence and inexistence hit the physical realm of space and time. in shorter words, it was a matter of time
Too much intergenerational trauma at this point, as in poverty and drugs, broken homes. These type of people have a tendency to wipe each other out while everyone else gets on with trying to make something of their lives.
My friend got killed for something very similar a Facebook argument they were all gang affiliated so maybe not quite the same but it's beyond stupid to murder someone over Facebook beef.
Gangs do make death threats on public posts on ig or fb or snap. There was a Chiraq gangster who would post a 😂 emoji on his opps’ posts. The laughing emoji signalled that he was putting a hit on the person, and the target would quickly be found dead or on the news.
I do agree that avoiding fights is the best thing. and you are right, anyone can have a gun or knife, in a car and they can be very strong and entitled.
I mean, if somebody told me "lets take this outside" or "you wanna go?" I would imagine they wanted to fight me, not blow me away with a 12 gauge. The guy was killed over a laughing emoji so this falls in line with todays chaotic stupidity.

There is a lot more to this story! Tanner was acquitted because he apparently went to the park to fist fight and walked into a hailstorm of bullets shot by Levi and his brother and friends. It says in the link, “ Levi Morgan was firing two separate weapons, an AR-15 style .300 blackout ARP and a .40 caliber Glock with a 30 round magazine. K.M. was firing a 9mm Walther handgun.” They came to the park to kill this guy. In an additional twist, Tanner didn’t even kill Levi, Levi’s brother did while spraying Tanner’s car with bullets.
In reference to your first comment about pulling into the wrong driveway. I delivered pizza when I was 18. So this was about 12 years ago. But I worked at a pizza place in the boonies of indiana. We had a large delivery area. A lot of the time we were delivering at night and we couldn't see addresses properly. Well one time I pulled into this hidden driveway. it was about 1/2 mile long single car driveway, surrounded by trees. I get to the end of the road. I'm not positive that I'm at the right place, si I stay in my vehicle a bit longer than I usually would trying to find some indication that I was in the right place. I decide, screw it, I will grab the pizza, get out, and go to the door to check and make sure I was in the right place. I exit my vehicle, turn to start walking towards the house, and I'm met with the end of a shotgun barrel in my face with some fucking hill jack asking why I was on his property. To which I promptly respond in a fit of rage "Do you not see my fucking sign? I must have pulled into the wrong driveway" Mind you, I have a giant sign with the company logo on it that is lit up. It's the middle of the night. There is no way he didn't see it. He says "Yeah, I didn't see the sign, you can't just pull onto peoples property." I got in my car without another word and drove off. Took note of his address, then promptly called the police when I got back to the restaraunt. From what I heard he was paid a visit. These "Stand your ground" and "Castle laws" are great and all for being able to defend your property. But fuck man.
