Haven't been to Mumbai in a long time so I not sure what arrow you are specifically talking about but having re-learnt driving in phoren contry, a green circle & green arrow have different meanings. Green circle means- you may go but beware that someone (Usually pedestrians) might be crossing your path at the same time. Green Arrow means - Bindaas nikal. No one else is expected to cross your path in this direction. Anyway, "The spirit of Mumbai" boneka or side se nikalte rehneka. 😂😂 Great video. Look forward to more.

Ha. There is no 'bindas nikal' in Mumbai or anywhere in India. Always look out for pedestrians and other vehicles breaking the signal.

@@Banzybanz 100% agree. True story about that- I already knew how to drive by Desi standards meaning I knew how to make a car go front -back, left -right. I had driven a few thousand km on Indian roads already. The local laws in new place mandated few driving lessons and test in my new work country. Initially I thought it was a nuisance even after studying for the theory exam. My opinion changed suddenly after my first driving class. These crazy people had hundreds - if not thousands- of rules and actually followed EVERY rule and read EVERY street sign and followed it's instruction! At the end of first class, my instructor asked me- "When the light turns green, why don't you just go? Why do you have to look left & right?" I didn't even know I was doing that 😂. I told him it is a reflex action after having driven for some time in India. 🤣🤣

In Bangalore, it once took 4 hours to travel less than 2kms. A person even leaving his bike between the traffic jam and trying to move on foot was observed. People traveling on foot where footpath wasn't existing were observed stuck between vehicles in the middle of the road not able to reach a roadside.

For the last so many years Mumbai is constantly in work in progress mode...some or the other construction is happening with hopes that congestions on road will reduce ..instead the congestion is back with vengeance...no amount of flyovers, broadening of roads, subways, metros will ever address the issue. So right about Bandra ..Rename BMC as RDC i.e., Road Digging Corporation
