Pedal effort basically. lotta track guys use a 1in or 1in 1/16in master. but warmed up track pads have friction coefficients of 0.7. autocross doesnt get as much heat into the brakes, & pads that work on the colder end are less aggressive around 0.45 friction. so I use a 3/4 front and 7/8 rear master. a 3/4in master basically has 50% less pedal effort as a 1in master.
What is the benefit from your new plate system? I have original brakes. Less flex but do you really feel it? And what is the benefit for manual brakes?
I won't speak for 3rd Gen Guy, but the extra stress on the firewall over thousands and thousands of pedal pushes can actually tear the firewall over time.
Hey in regards to the brake switch, did you use a two wire one just so the brake lights work? I converted over to T56 and was given a 4 wire switch. Not sure what the other 2 are for. Just curious to see what you did
