I so love listening to Caroline and her love of the gardens! It's amazing how much she remembers about the various kinds of flowers, trees, and bushes! Incredible! My mother always put coffee grounds on her flowers and bushes, too! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video! (Sorry, I'm just now finishing up watching the video! I started watching one of the tours and I'm obsessed with genealogy! 😆 Whenever a family member is mentioned, I put it on pause, look up the name to see if I'm related and then write it in my journal. 😊 ) Thank you for sharing! I have a Mme. Alfred Carrier rose in San Francisco, so much fun to see her pointed out at Mapperton! She's a very vigorous lady, pale, pale pink blossoms with a lovely sweet scent.

Your garden is out of this world - and the summer house a major focus point. Some furniture with a large pot of beautiful roses from the garden will make it even more inviting. I can just imagine tea serving there with some sandwiches to make it a real high tea event.

Go to your local hair salon and get some hair. Best if it has not been washed. Make sachets stuffed with the hair and hang around the garden. I put some loose around the flowers. This helps a lot to keep out the deer

What rock types are used there, and are they local? Sorry, I’m a geologist. I know Dorset is famous for it’s beautiful red sandstone, I forget the formation name now. You could bring on a local geologist to discuss the geology of the area and the types of building stone used on the estate. This idea might not have the widespread appeal of gardening videos, but many of us would love it.

What is the purpose of naming where are people watching from? or going live, for that matter....it makes the video and it's content kind of cheap.....besides, it looks a bit rude when one person is talking and the only one next to her is checking the phone all the time....just my opinion.....
