Lol. I always try and reply to comments if I get them. I don't get them often. But when I do I get excited. Especially if it's a question someone has bout the video or in the video. I try and answer to the best I can. :)
Its rare when Javek doesnt throw a sarcastic jab and actually complement someone. He seems to respect the Krogan in his own Javik way, given he was a raised warrior too.
They are just useful tools for the reapers. The rachni war was started by Sovereign by indoctrinating their queens. The last queen remembered of "dissonances". if the reapers wanted them destroyed they could as krogans are enough to make them exinct.
They were going to be wiped out, the reapers don't indoctrinate things they were not going to kill Ex: thorian, thresher maw Edit: they were not advanced enough at the time of the protheans but they were 50,000 years later
@@allandnothing5338 Yes. Bailing Grunt out of C-Sec custody was like bailing your child out of jail. Lol. Totally priceless scene. Shep: How were those noodles? Grunt: A little spicy. Shep: I love you Grunt. Grunt: He he he.
You and plenty other people. I don’t care what people are saying about the original looking better than the legendary versions either. Just nostalgia. I’m just glad it’s this year, it’ll help with all that’s going on in the world at the moment, at least for my mental health!
@@spartandare390 But each ending has it's pros and cons. For Synthesis, everyone could be in indoctrinated as you say, but we were also left with the idea that Synthesis was the final stage in evolution. Control allowed Shepard to use the Reapers as he sees fit which could be dangerous if he acts against all organic life or if someone else figures out how take control. Lastly is Destroy. Now for this ending, you rid the galaxy of the Reapers (and sadly EDI and the Geth) but the thing is the Catalyst isn't necessarily wrong about what might happen afterward. People will still potentially create synthetic life that could end up rebelling. If you think about it, there is no "canon ending". Only consequences to a choice *you* make. The real challenge is figuring out how they bring Shepard back if you chose Control or Synthesis.
@@ThoraxetheImpaile100 i know, there is however a theory that only the destroy ending is the actual ending. While control and synthesis is basically what the reaper want you to believe. (I'd be a fancy game over really 😅). It's a player made theory and never verified or debunked but see it like this. Control/synthesis is basically what Saren thought he could achieve (see where that got him). So in that theory we'd make the same mistake as saren with control/synthesis. It'd be an easy way to pick an ending canonical. Theh might have to add an extra ending after synthesis/control. Like it all was an illusion 😅 that'd be super dark. Also edi and geth dont die. Legions death is bullshit too, ais are software and hardware. Edi will still be the Normandy, the body might be destroyed but its mind aint
Wow, Shepards armor looks like something we'd see in Warhammer 40K. She'd make a damn fine Ultramarine. Edit: Didn't realize there were a lot of comments about her armor lol. But to add on to my own. Anything that could give the PROTHEANS trouble should not ever be taken lightly.
This I hated as much as the ending. It was a complete retcon of the events of ME 1 and the message from the Rachni queen in ME 2. It was basically the events of ME 1 rewritten for ME 3 and done so very badly.
People bitched (wrongly) about the ending to this game, but nobody seemed to have noticed the VERY limited dialogue choices compared to previous titles.....
@@TeeniePikachu89 I mean... ignoring their inability to accurately target small targets (Why could the reaper not hit Shep being one of those stupid, wrong complaints about the ending that just proved nobody paid any attention) I don't think such an encounter would go well. He missed you and STILL fucked you up hard.
This was probably my favorite mission in mass Effect 3 because I got to reunite with my boi Grunt. And to see that he isn't doing well but thriving was just awesome
The Rachni Queen really bombed her redemption arc. Released by Shepard only to become enslaved by the Reapers and make their problems worse. Not her fault, sure, but given that she KNEW about the Reapers, she should have been more prepared. Rebuilding her race just gave the Reapers more warriors until Shepard came along.
I've played the trilogy so many I honestly lost track. That's how much I have enjoyed it. Lol. Now to play it with updated graphics from the LE would be nice. I look forward to it.
A lot of game 2 and 3 was basically Shepard pulling up to some really important guys. The guards try to tell Shepard he/she cannot see the VIP and then the VIP comes to Shepard yelling "Shepaaaaard"
Funny, in my playings, Javik mention in the shuttle that the Protheans enhanced the Rachni and that they had to burn 200 planets when they grow out of control. I had him and Garrus in this mission.
Dammit. I miss that armor set, and the Chakram Launcher. That was one of my favorite DLC weapons in MEIII, just for the idea of the thing: a rifle that fabricates razor-sharp grenades that cause bleed damage and then detonate. It wasn't a door-kicker like the M-99 or a light machine gun like the Revenant, but it didn't have to be ^_^
It's the Reckoning Armor. Was from a cross promotion from playing the Knights Of Amalur demo. It's no longer available on console but is on Origin. It'll be included with the Legendary Ed.
I personally don't mind her character. Sure she seems like a bitch at times(questioning Sheps orders or decisions) and xenophobic at first in the first game BUT by the 3rd game she has a lot of character growth. I think ppl who hate her don't really use the time to actually talk to her in the 1st game and get to know her more. Understand why she mistrust aliens. I talk to her and Kaidan a lot after missions simply bc I want to make sure I don't miss no information on their back story or why they are the way they are. I at least have her and him alive in my playthroughs depending on which Shep I'm playing as.
If the Rachni were organised enough in the last cycle to fight the Protheans I'm surprised the Reapers didn't harvest them, as surely that would've qualified them as "advanced sentient life". And if that's true then the Rachni must be the only species to actually remember the reapers
raagggh female shepard.. i don't mind it but way less badass than the voice actor for male shepard.. even more when you guys try to make "good" looking female, that never happens lmao when theres a badass female she has more rude traits on her face like ronda roussey pretty but badass so yeah female shepard ruins great moments, toxic feminity
@@ambskater97 it comes down to voice acting for me little dude. The better one is the one i use. Like ac odessy, the male was ass so i played as kassandra.
It's the Reckoner Armor from the cross promotion for playing the demo Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning. The demo isn't available on console anymore. But is on Origin. It'll be available in the Legendary Ed.
Reckoner Armor. For playing the demo Kingdom Of Amalur: Reckoning. As part of the cross promo. No longer available. But is on Origin. It will come with the Legendary Edition thankfully.
It's the Reckoner Armor. It's from the cross promotion for playing the Knights of Amalur demo. That's no longer available for console. But if you have Origin you can download the demo on it from what someone said. It is a nice set. Hope this helps.
To each their own. Was a cross promo armor. Since Kingdom Of Amalur is an EA game. Also my Shepard was a lil darker in the first game. Some reason the skin tone became a lil lighter in the other games.
The Reckoning Armor. You got it for playing the demo of Knights of Amalur: Reckoning. That isn't available anymore. Can still obtain it thru Origin. But it'll be available in the Legendary Edition coming out.
that would explain why I couldn't get it, I bought the actual game. wait no I remember now there was no way to complete all of the quests inside of the time limit the demo gave you so you couldn't actually get the armor the way they said you were supposed to.
Did you kill the thresher maw in ME2 in this run? I am only on my second playthrough of the ME series and I wonder if there is a difference in dialogue for if you kill it or not.
Yes, I did kill the thresher maw in 2. I always try and kill it in every pt on Mass Effect. Um, Wrex say's something bout it after you finish Grunts Rite. Only thing I can remember is that Grunt mentions you helping him do his Rite. But doesn't mention y'all killing the thresher to my knowledge. Unless there's hidden dialogue I missed.
If I recall correctly that line “And being the strongest, I was chosen to lead this honoured company” signifies defeating the thresher maw. It’s been a good while since I played the game though, currently doing an new play through and only started the second game XD
Think it's mentioned that they get on ships some how. Like with Cerberus in the first game. They found the rachni and brought them on board their ship. Tried to make them into super soldiers but the alien was to smart. Ended up using escape pods to land on other planets. After Noveria, Shepard had to go to other planets to wipe them out after receiving a distress signal from another military squad.
Ok this has ALWAYS bugged me. But at 2:41 when Grunt says "The Rachni!" Both the audio and visuals seem like they're from another scene that was put together with the prior scene. Like it went from little sunlight to major sunlight in a second. Anyone else think this scene might have been part of something else or that there's another scene missing in between these two?
Now that you mention it.... It kinda does. I noticed it to but didn't really think nothing of it till now. Seems like maybe the sun was setting and night was coming for the planet they were on?? Idk I'm just speculating really. Lol.
I did not. Had to deal with something in real life. And other stuff happening so lost track of it. But might try and upload gameplay from the Legendary Edition.
hmmmmm....im not sure i like the idea that the rachni also existed during the previous cycle. kinda screws with...well everything. wouldn't it make more sense for the reapers to have taken them out as well?
Reckoner Armor. Got it from playing the demo of Kingdom of Amalur as part of a cross promo. That isn't available anymore on console. But it is on Origin. Luckily it'll be included in the Legendary Edition.
It's the Reckoner Armor. From playing the cross promo demo of Kingdom of Amalur. It's not available on console anymore but is on Steam. Available on the Legendary Edition.
No. It's the Reckoner Armor. Got it for playing the demo of Kingdom of Amalur as part of the cross promo. That's no longer available on console but is apparently on Origin. It'll be available in the upcoming Legendary Edition.
