No, third best. When Javik calls Wreav stupid for his arrogance, Wreav: Who are you? Javik: Prothean. Wreav: Oh? And how many of you are left? Javik: Enough to kill you.
- Javik: Why did you not heed our warnings?!? - Shepard: Why were your people so shortsighted that they coded the messages to be understood by Protheans when you knew damn well there weren't going to be any left around during the next cycle, and those that did would already know?!? - Javik: ...Touche'
"The lizard people evolved?" "I believe they're amphibians" says with a bit of snark :I "...They used to eat flies" love that whole; having the last word bit
They also used to lick their eyes. Th protheans would also eat their liver and kidneys, preferably while they were still alive because the salarians fear added "spice" to the meal.
"I am the embodiment of vengeance. The anger of a dead people, demanding blood be spilt for the blood we've lost!" He's like an intergalactic batman who wont hesitate to kill you for standing too close to him. Javik rocks.
Aang: last of your civilization? Javik:you too? Aang:(nods his head) Javik:you know what let’s go find our creators Aang:and punch them in the face for making both of us the last of our civilizations!
Well, maybe a few humans. Shepard destroyed the Alpha Relay, which delayed the Reaper arrival, but his "superiors" arrested him for it. Humans in general didn't prepare any more than the other races. TIM and Cerberus did some research, but wound up Indoctrinated and actually working for the Reapers.
Hey, at least that beats extinction. Give enough time and you'll have enough protheans for some to differ their line of thought to the point of becoming not-Javiks.
I like this DLC for all kinds of reasons. For example James gives Javik a name that I find hilarious while they both have trouble figuring each other out. And he's possibly the most interesting character I've seen since we FINALLY get to see what they looked like and his personality is both awesome and he leads me to some of my favorite moments in the Citadel DLC.
LMFAO when he said "THE LIZARD PEOPLE HAVE EVOLVED ,INTERESTING Then when he told LIARA they used to eat flies,I starting laughing so hard I got tears in my eyes ,I remember the first time I heard that in ME3 and laughed the same way but even longer.
I suspect if they went back to the prothean mass relay planet and opened all of life pods and cloned the bodies and put javik in the freezer until they reach mature age and give them a planet and resources and install javik as leader you could bring back their race
You mean the First Contact War between the humans and Turians? I'm not sure that would work as a movie or game. If I remember the codex entry on it and Ashley's story about it, it wasn't a particularly interesting conflict, at least for entertainment purposes. Humans tried to reactivate a Mass Relay and were discovered and attacked by Turians that were trying to prevent another incident like what happened with the Rachni, the humans fled back to their colony and were followed by the Turians, the Turians then conquered the colony by dropping bombs from orbit anytime they discovered human military forces moving on the ground which forced Ashley's grandfather to surrender to spare the lives of the innocent people constantly being cought up in it, then the Human Alliance eventually sent reinforcements that took back the colony by forcing the relatively small Turians force to retreat, and the two council races besides the Turians stepped in to help reach a diplomatic solution before humans and Turians started a full fledged war with one another.
So first the leviathan dlc now this, am I the only one who feels like ME3 was fuckin non cannon as hell I mean this is seriously part of the damn plot why the hell did they leave this stuff out and put that other shit in
***** At the end the catalyst actually explains that destroying the reapers will result in choas and extinction for all races because there is no control. Which basically meant they were keeping organic life going. Short term solution for Long Term problem. That's why control or synthesis is the more accepted way.
I really like Javic and want a new game about him. As i know, he was like Commander Shepard ( a little renegade ) but in prothean age. He has a ship and team mates, that he killed at the end, because they were indoctrinated.
Abe was actually used as a reference when creating the character, Thane Krios. :) Bioware's art director was noted as saying, "We also looked at Abe Sapien from Hellboy because his character is pretty interesting. We thought that might be a good reference for us to work towards." in relation to finalizing Thane's concept.
Liara: No, we have your plans for the Crucible. We've started building it. Javik: Crucible? Liara: The weapon your people were working on... I'd hope you could tell us how to finish it. Javik: Oh, that thing?... that's a coffee maker. Shepard: FUCK!
5:18 whoa that man's voice actor is that of the Codex man's! Smooth, very smooth! Go to hell, Morgan Freeman. The Codex man and Keith David (Anderson) are great.
Javik: I'm the living embodiment of vengeance! We demand blood for blood spilled! My Shepherd: An eye for an eye and the whole world ends up blind. Javik: Speak for yourself...two eyes.
I don't remember the name but it was either purchased at the Citadel in one of the shops or on the Normandy in the armory! Sorry for the late reply! :)
i loved this dlc. And Javik's facial expressions must be the best in the entire game. I didn't see lot of good anger (expression) on angry characters like i did on him
considering how much BW used to charge for the costume packs for ME2 and the weapons. 800BW points comes pretty close to 1 extra weapon and the alternate costumes+a squad mate.
