I don’t know dude I thought the guy was kind of uptight. At least those were the vibes I was getting from him during when I watched the whole video. And he didn’t even let Mike hold any of the animals.. not even any of the blackheads even after Mike stated they were his “dream snake”. He just seemed to have this attitude like “let’s get this show over with quickly”.. sort of. I wouldn’t buy anything from this guy.

@@MikeTytula love you're channel and you're animals and there enclosures and that's why I watch you you're enclosures are beautiful and unique but seeing these snakes like this with just 1 shed in a cramped space and on paper is absolutely horrible no offense but the *standard* way if keeping things isnt the best as things in the 1940s *standard* ways were to treat blacks like crap but it wasn't the best thing was it...if he can do it for the monitors he can do it for the snakes that deserve just as much love you're channel and hope to see the videos bye.

Agreed. People should not be forfeiting proper husbandry in order to keep an abundance of animals. None of these snakes in natural habitat live in boxes with some paper and water. Wether someone claims they “thrive” or not, it’s not proper keeping. Nor is there room for any mental stimulation.

I used to do a co-op at a pet store for highschool and they sold live rodents from $3- about $10 I believe, from mice to small rats, to medium, to large rats

@@ARPat2000 if you go to a reptile expo, frozen rodents are much cheaper. Pinkie mice are .50 cents, fuzzy mice .75, rats are around $1.00.

Because they are easier to open and you can control how much of the door you open, ie avoiding an aggressive snake from flying out of the cages.

He gets in on an import from indo, so he brings them in from there. Now he is working on captive breeding side of things!

I see this comment everywhere, on most herp videos I watch. It seriously makes me never want to check out snake discovery. Ever. Their fans make them sound like SJW of the snake world. They are snakes. Not children. They don't need playstations.

Most have a hide... the ones that don't are in a rack system where they don't really need a hide...

Care wise? No, but there are a few subtle distinctions between the two. There is on going debate about whether they are different subspecies or not. I believe right not they are the same species!

Damn haven’t seen them done here in aus yet 😭 always other countries getting our reptiles 😂😂 and we have I reckon some of the best breeders of reptiles here in Australia and if they are albino I’m guessing they’ve been cross bred because the only pure albino we had here in Australia died 😭 but if UK are producing them we should get them sent here then 👀👀

Many of them are kept in much larger cages than in other collections. Many of his tanks are 8 feet long or 10 feet long by 2.5 deep.

Agree, even though there housing is bigger compared to other keepers it doesn't make it any bigger. These snakes deserve just as much as as the monitors due to their homes. I understand when they are kept temporarily before they are sold but if these are long term, it is no better than being kept in solitary confinement

Yeah very unenriching enclosures. I wouldn't get anything I couldnt provide the most for it to thrive naturally, breeding or not. Large snakes are on the upper end of difficult for this because of their sheer mass. anything over 10 feet I wouldnt feel comfortable giving any less than a space of 14x6x6. Just enough space to stretch out isn't a good standard to go by, in my opinion.

Ya, I agree. They may be bigger enclosures than a lot of other people have, but it's still pretty bare minimum. Like nahh nah said, just enough space for a snake to stretch out isn't good enough. Not to mention that they are such barren enclosures, basically just a box with a single hide in it. Literally zero enrichment. Why does he go all out for his monitors enclosures but can't do the same for his snakes? Imo, if you can't give an animal the absolute best you can then you shouldn't have that animal.
