Here's my new video for “Run With Us”, in the form of some late '80s/early '90s nostalgia! Going through old episodes of ‘The Raccoons’ and putting this retro video together has been such a fun and nostalgic process. A huge thank you to the show’s creator, Mr. Kevin Gillis, for his generosity in kindly granting me permission to compile footage from the show to create this music video! I hope you all enjoy this fun little blast from the past! :D

Here's my new video for “Run With Us”, in the form of some late '80s/early '90s nostalgia! +Alex Palmer yeah, it was suppose to be called "As Long As Forever: A Raccoons Movie." It was suppose to come out back in 2003, but was cancel before anything was done.

ok ok, back in da day when this song came on at the end of the show, I had this vision of running through the field with all the characters of the show.......gimme a like if any of ya guys feel the same way.........run with me, i got everythin ya need,,,,,,,,don't ya love it?......these old guys from all these shows will always be our friends, i mean come on, ya know it and i know it.......they're not just drawings, puppets or whatever......they are very real and they are our friends, period............

Because Lisa Lougheed was a better singer than Steve Lunt. Not to mention, she was an up and coming Canadian Singer that caught a major break with The Raccoons. She was also the voice actress of Lisa Raccoon.

This version is good but the version I will always hold dear to my heart is the Lisa Lougheed version and actually Lisa Lougheed isn’t even the original singer of this song she is just the most well known singer of this song the original singer of this song was a guy named Steve Lunt but in Raccoons show Steve Lunt’s version was only used in season 1 of the show before the Lisa Lougheed version took over in seasons 2-5 and because the Steve Lunt version was only used in one season is why Lisa Lougheed is more well known as the original singer of this song when in actuality it was Steve Lunt who was the true original singer

I am sure many have compared Cyril Sneer to the Onceler in the Lorax. They are both avaricious, cigar chomping, impersonal executives who lead from their executive ivory tower and cause environmental damage and only too late realize the error of their ways. But I will go one farther. Cyril is like the Onceler from the book and the original special. Cedric Sneer is more like the Onceler from the 2012 film: the awkward, geeky up and comer with the yuppie attitude, Freudian nightmare background, friendlier and more personal approach, and good intentions. He is pressured into that situation but willingly acquiesces and shows that if given the chance he can be as cutthroat as the predecessors. Only he too has to learn his lesson though in his case it's before Its too late. Ooh someone should do a video of The Raccoons to the Lorax song, "Biggering."

In the states we only got the occasional Raccoon holiday special. I remain surprised even after all these years. It seems, Aardvark males rarely, if ever, wear clothing. Conversely, Aardvark females wear shirts and skirts.... Weird.
