Goosebumps, when Max investigates the helicopter and the rest of area. "Here I was some hopped up gringo, a long way from home, making trouble the only way I knew".
This swamp level is defo one of the best swamp areas in any game of all time. So thick with atmosphere, and half of the time there's isn't even any shooting.
One of my all time favorite lines from this game was from the airport level. "So I guess I'd become what they'd wanted me to be: a killer. Some rent-a-clown with a gun that puts holes in other bad guys. Well, that was what they had paid for, so in the end, that's what they got. Say what you want about Americans, but we understand capitalism. You buy yourself a product, and you get what you paid for, and these chumps had paid for some angry gringo without the sensibilities to know right from wrong. Here I was about to execute this poor bastard like some dime store Angel of Death, when I realized, they were correct. I wouldn't know right from wrong if one of them was helping the poor and the other was bangin' my sister." Gives me chills every time.
That was it then was it? Say a few magic words and be absolved of your sins? If shit were that simple, I would've done it years ago. Me? I was stuck in past for too long that I forgotten which year it was.
@@GordonFreemanRazorBellic Max Payne 3 doesn't need a remake, just a port. I'd argue Max Payne 1 and 2 don't need remakes either, but I trust Remedy to do them justice and am looking forward to seeing them reimagined.
@@lolusuck386 Yeáh, yeáh, you're right. I agree with you. I played Max Payne 3 in 2012, 2015, 2016 and now 2023 and it really doesn't need a remake or remaster, just a backwards compatibility is fine. Now the Max Payne 1 and 2 I think they need it, however it's not necessary, just one port is fine. They still work today and a port would take the noir vibe away from them, especially the first one which is very noir feelings and 90's: PERFECTION! Max Payne 3 is great, I think it's timeless too, just the size is great. Let's hope Remedy and Rockstar do great work with them three yet, lil bro!
