i almost feel compelled after watching each episode to say the standard of guests on your show just blows me away..what a top geezer...the stories were amazing, and you allowed them to flow perfectly..quality quality quality.
Speak from experience. George was an absolute gentleman to all the sensible cons in Belmarsh . Firm but fair and we all respected him. A thoroughly decent human being.
Yeah it helps your time when you have one or two decent screws some of them are actually decent blokes I've had some good laughs with some of them they have crazy banter respect to all you screws who do your job without using your power to make our time harder than it needs to be keep up the good work guy's great interview dodge
Sitting in my Lounge with three Dobermans. I was in so many tears towards the end of the fucking Jam story they all jumped on top of me thinking I was having a bloody Stroke or something. Start to finish a session of truth and honesty with a load of great laughs. Thanks the pair of you.
This is probably the best podcast I have ever watched. What an amazing bloke with brilliant stories. You should get George back. Truly a good, respectful, and hilarious man.
George, what a top man. Could listen to him all day. This man should be a trainer on teaching new and non confident PO. The exact right attitude to have when working in the public sector.
One the best podcasts Iv watched in a long time watched from start to finish. The best ones for me are the ones where I’ve never heard of the guest before and I know within 10 minutes if im going to enjoy it or not. George is the a great bloke great listen 👊
Great interview with a true gentleman! I dont know why the government,or society in general, don’t use George in the development of prisons and rehab programs for criminals, all that experience, his personality, his approach to the job and the inmates is priceless.❤
Fantastic interview, what an inspirational human being George is! His respect for those under his care is amazing , refreshing and an example to POs everywhere. My favourite interview you've done so far. Good work Dodge.
Absolutely fantastic interview, from beginning to end. Thoroughly entertaining - time disappeared watching it. George seems a top man - we can all learn from him and his approach to life. Well done and Thankyou for this interview!👍👍👍
This was one of the best podcasts I think I've ever watched . A true and honest account of an amazing life as a screw in some of the hardest jail's around . Thank you guys for a top class podcast .
This is without doubt ‘the best’ podcast I have ever watched on RU-vid. I was a Prison Officer for 25 years, working at The Bailey, Brixton and Wandsworth in 92/93 and then on to Hull for 13 years. At Hull, I worked on the CRC/CSU which was similar to the unit at Belmarsh and then it turned in to a super-grass unit where I worked with some of the Bloggs’s. BUT, my experiences, although sometimes eye-opening and shocking, pail in to insignificance compared to George’s. I split my last 10 years between Everthorpe and Moorland. All the way through this video, I related to everything George was saying. Dodge, you got a result with this fella and he needs to be back for more. Thanks George; top man!
The amount of jobs I am supposed to be doing and normally would skim through or bin a vlog/podcast to get back to. Routinely half watch and move on. This is one of the first times I have just binned everything and ignored the blower and the graft to listen to every word George had to say and only paused occasionally to make a brew. What an utter ledgend this man is. The amount of young folk, professional folk, just so many people could genuinely learn so many valuable lessons about being a better human being from this man. Equally, well done friend, offering just the perfect setting and atmosphere to get the best from this interview and give us all the privilege of watching a truly fascinating and enjoyable piece of journalism. Fair play to the both of you. Thank you.
@@georgezuss2925 Tell you what lad. Appreciate holdin yer hands up. Give it to Bill tell him it’s more than his jobs worth if it ain’t in triplicate and them little colored dividers then meet me in the pub. Oh and 1st round is on you lad. Pint of heavy double Glenfiddich an a pack of scampi fries (and chewin gum or she’ll think ave noshed a hooker haha)
I started watching to hear about Charlie Bronson thinking it was a clip. I soon noticed the run time and thought "FU#K THAT"! I watched another couple of minutes and I was hooked!! I totally forgot about Charlie and I was like "OH YEAH!!! Charlie" when he eventually talked about him. Like everyone else!!! Crying laughing at the jam story at the end!! 😂😂😂
@@DodgeWoodall The whole time I was thinking of an old mate of mine that was in Scrubs. London boy. I'm Scouse/Irish. George was the perfect screw and it brought it all home about how thin the dividing line can be. People who are just trying to put food on the table can easily take a wrong turn. Not exaggerating, this is the most enjoyable and relatable thing I've ever seen on RU-vid. Massive respect to George and Yourself.
Excellent as discussed I was brought up to not trust anyone who was a screw or plod. George comes over as a genuine decent fella who knows the real score. A perfect personality for the job inmates and the service were lucky to have had him. Good job Dodge.
Brilliant. We really need to see and appreciate the stories about inside prison. I’d want George on my side, in or out. What an exceptional gentleman. I ‘m glad to hear he got thru to some of the inmates. Kevin Lane. Wow.
I'd love this guy to do a TV series were he visits other prison systems around the world, norway, America, Australia. He could see certain justice correction programmes around the planet.
i have been struggling to find something that can keep me entertained whilst i watch, i can honestly say this episode had me on the edge of my seat like it was an action movie, what a true down to earth character, if only we had more people like in the world like George
Im glad i watched this fella. You can apply this character to everyday life and jobs. It would take a very unique person to do it. Very different to other countries aswell.
My favourite one so far dodge. George comes across as an unreal human being and a top class gent fair play to him we definitely need more like him in the world. 👍🏻
😂 I’m stood at a bus stop next to a load of people pi$$ing myself laughing and getting funny looks, Dodge! That was absolutely brilliant. What a nice fella 👏🏻
I usually watch your podcast doing cardio in the gym, the jam story mad me fall of the rowing machine 🤣 top quality and I’d love to hear more there’s surely a part 2 to this
