Nah, he may be biased because the debate reflects on how good he is viewed as a player. His entire game is meant to mirror Jordan's game, so if "killer mentality" and "winning rings" (even tho that's a team accomplishment) are emphasized over any other type of analysis, then his career will be elevated in parallel with Jordan's.
I think he's having flashbacks of playing vs a 40 year old Michael Jordan. And if a 40 year old schooled him like he did, he just imagines what a prime Jordan would have done. Simple.
Look up when Doug Collins put MJ at the point guard position. Look up his stats then. If Michael wanted to play the type of game Lebron does he could've but that's not what Phil wanted him to do.
Thats because mj is a scorer mentality....even though hes getting his stats his teammates are not getting in rythm look up what gilbert arenas says about lebron james ....he said you think your locking him down but the truth is hes getting hes teammates in rythm and getting them more touches.....thats not what poinguard mj did....mj got assisst because he was double teamed but hes teamates are only getting the ball when they are open they dont get in rythm and dont get enough touches.....mj in pg is more like a westbrook great stats almost similar to lebron but different style of getting those stats
@@timduncan7049 I disagree. He had a win mentality whatever it took. If that meant he had to score he would. (And at the start of his time on the bulls he HAD TO. It was the best % play. ) And if he has to pass he will.
That his natural position. Now asking you not a facilitator, asking James playing not a facilitator ..it's diff. Man. For me I gotta got mj specially in crunch time, mj willingness to win specially in nba finals.
@@patinho5589 AGREED. These idiots FORGET these are PROFESSIONAL athletes. ESPECIALLY Jordan. If it meant he has to PASS more than score, he WOULD. Especially when he knows his teammates are capable of scoring when they're needed to. He's willing to defer. In fact, even the MOST selfish players like Kobe,Russ,Harden, etc are willing to pass more BUT if they're surrounded by SCRUBS and they can't score and help win the game, then these players are sort of forced to be selfish. Can't blame these guys, man. They REALLY want to win.
@@timduncan7049 The problem with lebron is he messes with the flow of the offense.. Mj played off ball run around screens and made his move quick unlike lebron who runs a very awkward looking offense because of the lack of movement whether thats ball movement or body movement.. In an indirect way i think mj was better at making his teammates better solely because of that.. Lebron is a phenomenal passer but to me that only hides the big flaw of his playstyle/system
04:40 When Jordan paased to Kerr, he did it knowing that double team was coming and even told him to be ready. It was calculated, not some last second pass as if he had painted himself into a corner. Dont try to edit history Rahcel
It’s the same thing with Kyries shot! Ty Lue decided it beforehand. Obviously the Cavs will prefer Kyrie to take final shot because he is the best on the team at creating a shot out of nowhere, he is a pure isolation player. That’s the REASON you have Kyrie on your team. It’s not a choke on Lebron, it’s a conscious acknowledgement of his abilities and him not taking the last shot helped the team win. You guys need to stop listening to media and learn the complexities of basketball.
WORKSbaby What does that have to do with me correcting you lmao Im a celtics fan so I dont get your point, The teams last year was 2012 then LeBron Broke them up and took Ray Allen, Thats why Pierce and Garnett hate Ray Allen now because LeBron took him from them lmao
No he's not. If that was the case he wouldn't of picked the Cavs to win it all in during last yrs finals. He was part of the halftime crew. This love fest for LeBron is getting out of hand 😂
True. I think ppl try to compare that with Ray Allen and fail to realize, if Kerr misses, they still have a chance. They can just go to the next game and try and win it there, Jordan's legacy isn't at stake there. If Ray misses, then it's game over and the last thing people will remember is that pull up 3 lebron took
they weren't even down by anything before steve kerr took the shot. the score was tied and even if he did miss, then the bulls and jazz would go into overtime
tmac has a good point both tmac and pierce has scorers mentality. tmac wants to stay the same whereas pierce would step back for mj and play as role player. if tmac is on lebron team cleary tmac is the man on the clutch moments.

The Kerr shot was not a 'bail out' it was the brilliant execution of a play, being that everyone on the planet thought MJ would take that shot, and MJ proved he trusted his team mates, it was a win, win, Finals win
@@damonrawlins660 nope. lebron did it most of the time ,mj made that play cause he was going to be double teamed and he knew it so he instructed kerr to be ready.

When MJ came out of retirement the Bulls record was 34-31, they won 13 of their next 17 regular season games to finish 47-35. The following year they went 72-10... Who really elevated that team... because it wasn't Pippen
@Sumukh Nitundila shows how little people know Triangle was a good system but the thing that made the Bulls was Jordan Playoff basketball is when the real greats show up and win. There is zero doubt Jordan was the goat. The moment he figured out how to win he never again lost while playing a full season in Chicago
@Sumukh Nitundila who was Phil Jackson prior to Jordan? A nobody. A second tier basketball player turned coach You are dead wrong about Jordan EVERY single time someone said something negative about him or bet against him he absolutely wrecked the critique What couldn't Jordan do on a basketball court? Offense he is the only unstoppable player in history Defense We all know how Jordan wrecked opposing teams with steals and locking players down Passing Ur an idiot if u dont recognize the sheer greatness of his passing There was zero deficiencies in his game and God like is about the only possible description BUT that is still under selling it. The guy literally told people what he was about to do and where he would score from then do it to them Jordan not the 1 trick stat padding pony James was the true basketball genius. The first three peat was raw talent. Straight physical dominance while the second three peat was all IQ from the only unstoppable player we will ever see
@Sumukh Nitundila Jordan was so over the top great the NBA had a golden goose as did everyone Jordan represented. Nike,Haines, Gatorade, as examples. Jirdan generated 1 billion dollars a year by playing basketball Once he was gone so was the golden goose. The NBA has desperately tried to create another Jordan and because the likes of Kobe and James are so inferior so many false narratives have been created Lebron Great passer. BS its 5 out basketball and with James size and speed he has the easiest path to the basket or he has to pass the ball making the most basic reads. There is zero impressive there and then u add in his high turnovers and it's kinda sad Defender Stfu for his size speed and natural abilities his is a pathetic defender and most if it is his over inflated ego allowing him to believe he is to important to play defense. Having a few highlights over 17 years isn't a great defender. The he should of won DPOY is laughable. Stat padding %100 true. What system does Lebrons teams run? Everyone work off me while I get mine and u guys be ready to be scapegoated. There is the he "has to play so many minutes " "he has to do so much on offense " Guy it's all bullshit. He dont play defense, never practices and he is gassed come the finals multiple years... how when ur conditioning is so superior u spend 2 mill a year on it. ALL LIES FALSE NARRATIVES AND BS Bosh and Love both have very versatile offensive games yet James the guy who makes everyone better relegated them to spot up shooters. All star potential HOf players have their roles reduced to that of a Kyle Korver. Htf is that making them better. High IQ this bitch boy went straight to the media and cried "we need IQ guys to beat the Warriors " blaming JR 4 the loss. 2 things. Ur queen was clueless to the timeout situation. Video is there after in a timeout he says "we had a timeout?" If ur IQ is so great why u asking Wtf can James do if he ain't ball dominant and stat padding? He dont have the smarts to play in a system Last finals James was in Game 1 51 pts and stats clueless James fans will puff their chests over. Big deal he put up numbers 1 time for me recap what he did in overtime of that game 1 Pouted Cried Complained And disappeared The great all around clown vanished in a game he was unstoppable. Game 3 was right there 4 the taking 4 James also but the false king failed like he always does. U take 2 miracles away in Ray getting and hitting that shot and Kyries insane 3 and it all around great players 1-8 PATHETIC Rebounding He out rebounds Jordan by less then 2 a game. he is bigger faster and stronger and plays in an NBA where sf play the 4 and bigs....... today's big men smh There is also all those 3 pt shots in today's NBA. Long rebounds which is easy boards for wings and perimeter players. Jordan would easily get 2 more boards in today's NBA The greatness of Lebron is natural gifts. Size, strength, leaping and speed. His ability to apply such gifts is embarrassing He is flat out lazy, egotistical and nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is What James is, is the face of the Nba. A buisness desperately trying to recreate the black superman that was Jordan James fans see he is good but trying to put a 1 trick loser pony in Jordan's stratosphere is when real NBA fans who saw greatness speak up squashing false kings and dollar store cheap knock copies Saddest part is if James had been held accountable, allowed himself to be coached and understood he is NIT bigger then the game he maybe could of topped Jordan. Jordan was never the most gifted. He was smarter, worked harder and evolved until he became unguardable and unbeatable
Remember before when LBJ came back on cavs? Cavs was trash lottery team. What happend when LBJ came back to his homecourt? Do i need to tell you what happend on cavs 3 seasons?
I’ve seen them both play, and while James is great, Jordan is the best I’ve ever seen. He was a straight assassin, who never shrunk away from the big moment. He got the most from each of his team mates, and was always ready to carry the squad. GOAT.
Davod Hashimi if you have lebron James on your team he will literally dominate the ball and make you stand in the corner while he drives and kicks. With Jordan you can actually run a more team oriented offense
But McGrady is probably the closest thing to LeBron as a player, and McGrady miscast himself as the lead guy, which is why he left Carter in Toronto. Had he stayed, maybe he's a greater Robin than Pippen; Carter could have been MUCH greater. LeBron with McGrady is redundant. McGrady was every bit as talented as LeBron, without the hype, longevity, etc. McGrady was an underrated defender, and excellent passer too.
i disagree... mcgrady is a good overall player underrated defended and can play off the ball. and i will definitely say that he is a better player than scottie pippen in his prime... just prime tmac
Wait, wait, what...? McGrady in his Orlando days was an offensive machine who peaked higher than Vince Carter did in Toronto. So I'm not sure how he "miscast" himself.
@Lorian Loth I just think your comment is funny. Who you referring to that guarded both players? Lebron is a way better team player than Michael Jordan. I dont have to debate that with you. I am just interested in what player was able to determine how good Michael was when he was leaving his career and Lebron was beginning their career and how this person can determine who is better lol do you not see how flawed that is? No one will ever play the two of them when they were at their peaks. That's why we have to use statistics to validate.
Pierce gave Lebron credit as a great player where it was due. He's just said that based off his experience of playing against and watching both men play, Jordan is clearly better. That's all.
MJ in pippen's second season, 1988-89, averaged 32 ppg 8 rebounds and 8 assists while pippen average 14 ppg 6 rebounds and 3 assists. After that pippen was trained to be the playmaker and handle the assists department, that's team work, that's leadership, training the young talent on how to do it, not be the leader on all stats, even though he could had.
Exactly. I believe it was that season Jordan played point guard and averaged 30.4 points, 10.7 assists, 9.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals on 50% shooting in 39.8 minutes over 24 games. However, Phil thought Jordan being that ball dominant would be bad for the team. As a result Scottie was able to develop as a playmaker and the rest was history.
Prophecy95 no I don’t think so Celtics are built better for a team that would have them coexist far better than the Cavs. Plus Paul plays within the system quite well. There were never iso I’m Celtics when Paul Pierce was there
Pelon Martinez recovered from what ? He has a winning record vs LeBron in the regular season, He dropped 50 points on Lebron, eliminated him 2 times from the playoffs and Lebron didn’t beat Pierce in the playoffs until he joined the stacked Heat team. Smh
Not hate against bron, facts bruh. 6 for 6 will ALWAYS beat 3 for 8. MJ leads in all important stats. You can't ignore that. Keep wishing Bron fans... MJ did it better and without being a Biogenesis client. Just stop already.
There asking Paul Pierce who has a lot of animosity towards Lebron. He's obviously jaded. But damn, he really dislikes LeBron probably because he was single handedly responsible for the destruction of the Celtics..
Dem Chapped Lips One? You forget a lot huh? KG, Paul, Rondo, and Ray where the ones that sent LBJ "running". Then got destroyed when they couldn't face a one superstar team like they got accustomed to.
What y'all fail to remember is that before Lebron was on the Heat, Pierce and the Celtics used to knock that ass out of the playoffs all the time. It's not like Lebron killed the Celtics. The Celtics was already dead inside. Lebron's not the reason Ray Allen went to Miami, the Celtic organization didn't really treat him like a big three.
@@laflame5506 Tmac couldnt break the league with Lebron because he was always injured. Sadly as much as i love TMac his whole carrer is a what if. Even if he was playing with Lebron he would just get injured. I love Tmac but sadly he wouldnt break anything due to his constant injuries.
Jordan hands down. Jordan will always give you 100% on both ends of the court. Jordan and Kobe are the only two players that will play to win and do what it takes to win. Also Jordan is clutch.
It doesn't matter when you "can show and prove that you can own them too." Jordan got his respect as an all time great. Can "lecunt" do the same? He has yet to prove himself. And that's all the "people" are saying, "lecunt" hasn't proved himself to be all that's hyped on him. If he can show "real greatness" then the masses will leave him alone. Because you can't argue with greatness. Like him or not if he is truly deserving of his credits I would only be able to stand on the fact that he is proven and would be forced to "accept" and "respect" his game. "lecunt" hasn't showed us true NBA spectators that he deserves to be in the conversation as "all time great." And that's why we bash him, on top of the fact that he's compared to Michael Jordan. Which is of obviously of course overconfident, shameful, embarrassing, pitiful, and just plain old insanity! "lecunt" is just a step or two off the line when it comes to greatness. And it has been proven and also mathematically confirmed that he is only a 3-7 backwards, dumb bum, butt head, jerk off looser with no point or points being made of conclusion when it comes to greatness, or notes or notables in the conversation of greatness. A has been of not showing up in winning a game when a game is being played, and needing a leader and a win to finish and prove he cannot be contested, and will not be contested. And seizing the victory when it comes to being great, and to making that accomplishment, and to when it counts the most. Notices being made, of nonsense on and off the court, he can't consistently win titles and championships. Or without equally superior("lecunt" is really more of an inferior player not superior, just used word to make a point) reinforcements or help. And let's not forget about luck! It has been proven. A pointless reminder of what's being said. Time and time again! He's a looser! Don't talk about "lecunt" in the conversation when it comes to greatness. Because he isn't great, he's mediocre, plain Jane, soft, novice, beginner, inferior, and just plain old average at best. Just an average guy, Michael Jordan done the impossible time, and time again. Now if he ever starts to play like that. Then the tyrants will cease, I doubt that will ever happen though. He's just not that good, or important for that matter! "lecunt" is truly a goat "Garbage of all time!"
There is an open court with Steve Kerr where he talks about coming out of the timeout being told by Micheal Jordan that he was going to take the last shot in the 1997 NBA Finals Game 6 against Utah.Idk wtf pierce is talking about.
I saw that game and the camera zoomed into the Bulls to hear Jordan telling Kerr that he'll give him the last one and Kerr said he'll be ready... see it here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6uDDA73G5YM.html
The one thing I hate, and many people may not remember or know, but that 6 titles is deceptive. MJ quit the game after winning 3 titles because his father was murdered over the championship ring Mike gave him. I mean being totally logical, the Bulls would've 8-peated. That's an insane probability that I rarely hear considered any longer, but it was a big deal when I was in high school.
@@TheAnonapersons No excuses, you're a professional athlete. You're either ready to come back or you aren't. He had enough games that season to get in game shape.
Facts it's contagious everyone responded to his vibe, plus Jordan destroyed a lot of these sport commentators chances of getting a ring . Barkley etc. Jordan was the factor
This is especially true on defense. You can see Jordan's teammates taking on his defensive intensity whereas you can see some of LeBron's teammates taking on his lack of defensive intensity (post Miami-era when he made a very clear decision to start resting on defense - his defensive stats show the same thing).
Isn't that partly because of them adopting to Jordan's mentality? They are in to win to finish at the top, not second or third. You need that mentality to go through everyone. That itself elevates the players around you. Saying that Jordan did not elevate his team simply do not know what it means to win. We don't even need to go back to the Jordan Era as an example. Two years ago Toronto Raptors never stood a chance against Lebron's Cleveland. Last year they acquired Kawhi, who leads purely by example. They did not face Lebron and Cleveland last year, but as I know, they beat the team Clevelend lost to 3 times. You either go a snatch it from everyone else, or just stand and wait around for others to get it for you. This is why Lebron will never be the greatest. I am not even sold on that fact that he's over Kareem or Kobe for that matter.
Of course you would. Because you're loser like Tmac, you would've ended up 3 for 8, and if you ended up playing in the 6 losing seasons with him, you would've ended up with 0 for 6. Just how DUMB must you people be? Tmac dont know what it means to win a ring. Pierce does.
Jaesee Banks damn you sound hurt.... btw I’ll take prime tmac over prime pierce 7 days a week and twice on sundays. Tmac got injured, pierce had a big 3. Simple
Mcgrady has a point, T-Mac and Lebron = Championships. T-Mac and Jordan = Problems. Look at what happened with him and his cousin Carter in Toronto? Him starting a team with his play style fits more with a Lebron type.
Huh? The question was which player would you want to start a team with. It would be both players problem they couldn't share the ball and as the question was asked to T Mac, it would depend on his preference. Pippen and Jordan worked because Pippen decided he wanted to be Robin. Pierce automatically deferred to Jordan because he considered himself less talented than Jordan. T-Mac considered the question more or less as a serious contributor to the team who would refuse to be considered someone's sidekick. You would have the same issue if it was Kobe, Shaq, Bird, Dr. J, Westbrook, Iverson and any other premier player who wants and has the capability to take a game over. Jordan would be equally to blame if he couldn't figure out how to share and win with another score-first mentality player. Lebron is a more versatile player and could shine with anyone. Jordan isn't.
SuperDominicHoward I get your point but at the end of the day Jordan won 6 championship and LeBron only has 3. don't get me wrong LeBron is a hell of a good player (and I'm a LeBron hater) (bulls fan) but Jordan accomplished more than LeBron in a shorter period of time
Jordan score 40pts T-mac & LBJ score each other 20pts If you are a true basketball player you'll choose to go team mates with t-mac & lbj , but if you are just a youtube bandwagonner you choose to be with mj.
Paul Albert Antonio Why would you want to play with someone that won’t let you eat? With Bron both of y’all get to eat. With Jordan you can just have his leftovers. Pierce knows he would rather play with LeBron he is just stubborn and hurt. You can’t have players like Jordan and Tmac on the same team anyway.
@@yrnxkj7607 I would take MJ because even if it leftovers, he will bring us to glory.. MJ push other players in training.. Phon Xieng How can you take away from LeBron greatness just because he don't take the last shot? He can't shoot and he's not a scorer like Jordan amd Kobe, he's always and will be the greatest (playmaker) ever.
oh please. you're being ignorant, basketball is not just about scoring. obviously MJ was a much much better closer/scorer. that was his game. LeBron is a pass first player, even though he scores a lot of points. they're both great in different ways.
Varadi Roland Exactly, So If your team is down by 3 with 1 second left and Shaq is your star player, you think Shaq is gonna shoot. No they gonna give it to the open man.(Robert Horry or Fox) You can't take away Shaq Dominance just because he'll never take the last shot.
Jordan passing to Paxon on the last shot in the final was a play called by Coach Jackson. When Jordan passed to Steve Kerr on the last shot in the final, Jordan called that play on the bench with Kerr. James defers to others under pressure without it being an intention of the entire team.
Jordan vs LeBron Updated after Lebrons 14th season. Michael Jordan has: •3 more rings •3 more final mvps •1 more DPOY •1 more season MVP •9 more scoring titles •3 more steals leader •3 more all defensive team selections •4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer. •800 more steals •Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10) •Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals Lebron did it twice •6/6 (never allowed a game 7) •Lebron had much more offensive help, example: Jordan never had a teammate average more than 22 points in the finals.. In fact, Mj is Only player in NBA history to lead a team to the championship with only one teammate averaging double figures in scoring * In the Bulls’ 1997 playoff run, Scottie Pippen averaged 19 points per game on 42% shooting. All other teammates of Jordan averaged under 8 points per game Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26 •MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs •MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games.. MJ accomplished all of this in 13 seasons Lebron after his 14th season, is still chasing the “ghost (GOAT) that played in Chicago” •Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg. (86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics. •Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line. •in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%. •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3% •MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3. •MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9% •LeBron James has scored 30 points, 416 times in 1,117 games. Michael Jordan did it 562 times in 1,072 games. Jordan won 6 championships without losing a final in 1,072 games and LeBron in 1,117 games has lost 5 times and has only won 3 times (updated 2018) •MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year.. •Mj also has more career blocks (893) than Lebron James (853) despite playing in 22 LESS career games and being the smaller guy. Also, MJ averaged 1.6 blocks per game in the 1987-88 season which is absolutely bonkers for a 6’6″ shooting guard. Seriously this list can keep going. This isn’t even a debate. Mj is the GOAT. MIchael Jordan: •NBA record 5 playoffs series’ averaging atleast 40ppg •Only player in history to lead league in scoring and win DPOY •Highest scoring average, points per game, in any championship series: 41.0 vs. Phoenix Suns, 1993 NBA Finals •Only rookie in NBA history to lead his team in four statistics (1984-85) •Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring, win Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season (1987-88) •Only player in history to average at least 30pts 6reb 5assists And 2 steals per game AND HE DID IT 7 TIMES. •Only player in NBA history to win Rookie of the Year (1984-85), Defensive Player of the Year (1987-88), NBA MVP (1987-88, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1995-96, 1997-98), All-Star MVP (1988, 1996, 1998), and Finals MVP (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998) •Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring and win the NBA championship MORE THAN ONCE in the same season * He did this SIX TIMES!! (1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98) •One of two players in NBA history to score 3,000 points in a season: 3,041 points scored in 82 games played (37.1 ppg) (1986-87) * Wilt Chamberlain is the only other player to achieve this. •MJ is also the only player in NBA history to score over 40 points at age 40, and he did it twice! •In 1988, MJ earned: Dunk Champ, All Star Game MVP, NBA Scoring Title, League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year. Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls: -10 scoring titles, -Won Defensive Player of the Year, -9 times all defensive team, -9time All NBA, -5 league MVPs -6 finals MVPs All 11 seasons. These stats were awesome! No lebron stans will comment on this to argue because you just shat on any argument lebron has for goat conversation with those lol

That would be the only way... LeBron would have a winning championship record... cause 3-6 is ugly but at least he has 3... but 6-3 would of been better...
MJ don't need lebron. he's got scottie. and i bet MJ would keep scottie over lebron. i don't think lebron is mentally strong enough to play on a jordan team. just doesn't want it bad enough. MJ ended a lot of NBA careers trying to build a team in chicago.
have you never seen LeBron play? everyone wanted Mozgov and Tristan Thompson after they played together for a season because they played so well with LeBron and he was able to get them more looks and make them look like decent players..

The whole "Didn't Steve Kerr or John Paxson bail MJ out?" CRAP is old man... I know people like to make excuses for Leswept's failures, but this revisionist history stuff has to stop. First 3-peat it was Paxson, second 3-peat it was Kerr. STOP trying to equate that to Ray Allen getting a lucky bounce, or Kyrie Irving controlling the last possession. NOWHERE NEAR the same thing.
When they discuss "who would you rather play with?"; This shows the difference between someone who would rather win (Pierce) than someone who would rather pad their stats (McGrady). Pierce has a championship and values and understands winning. McGrady has no titles and doesn't understand that, hence why he has never won a title. He just doesn't know how it feels to win that title.
That's where you're wrong though. The question is indeed "Who would you rather play with?". T-Mac is a monster on offense in his prime. Why wouldn't he want to play with someone who can compliment his game?
Pippen is a great player and can play along with the GOAT.i agree with paul pierce, jordan may not elevate his teammates with passing but with his leadership can elevate his whole team.
Uh, when did you start watching basketball bro? Like 6 months ago? That Celts team was shitting on LeBron, why you think he had to leave Cleveland and go to Miami?
Of course they were shitting on Cleveland LeBron's second best player was Zydrunas Ilgauskas lol. I like how you said LeBron formed a super team when the Celtics formed a super team first haha. Of course they were gonna shit on people with guys like Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Garnett, and Rondo.
James Forcum zydrunas is a former all star mo Williams was an all star no excuses and he had shaq. Kobe didn't have a problem beating them in 2010 nor did he leave his team when he lost to them in 2008.
Some NBA players still didn't get it, it's not about just be playing basketball. It's about getting to point why your playing. Winning Championship is the ultimate goal.
I absolutely love Pierce's input on this subject. We're acting like Jordan was not a great passer and never involved his teammates: Lebron averages 1.8 assists more than MJ. For every assist that LeBron has over MJ, MJ has more points, free-throws and steals (equal amount of blocks, that's impressive). Even with up-to-date data analysis for PER, Jordan has a higher regular and playoff career high PER than LeBron's best season. Not only is he better in the last 2-5 minutes of the game, but MJ could impose his will on the game and get the W when it MATTERED. Consistently. Efficiently. LeBron is a better passer and a slightly better rebounder (even then, he only averages 1 more rebound career-wise, and he's 2" taller). Asking "who is the best player/greatest of all time?" is different than asking "who had the best career of all time?" LeBron, when all is said and done, will be more accomplished than MJ, but he is NOT a greater player than MJ. period.
Well... Everyone forgets that 1985-1990 Jordan was exactly like 2004-07 Kobe... ballhogging extraordinaire. He learned to fit within certain confines of the triangle offense and Phil's system, but much like Iverson and Kobe, he never really let go of his ballhogging tendencies. LeBron never had to become the ballhog. He made his teammates better his whole career
Rodney Owens lol Kyrie was already an all-star player before lebum came back to the Cavs. do you think he will comeback to the Cavs if Kyrie wasn't there? NO HE WONT
ill replace pip with rookie grant hill, glen rice or glen robinson. Now who would you replaced to fill up the shoe of MJ to teamed up with rookie Pippen.
Mj (prime) vs Lebron/McGrady(Prime)? Sorry boi but i put my money on James and Grady... If you don't understand coz you just a youtube highlight fan... Basketball is all about good chemistry. If Jordan get lockdown with 20pts and his teammate score 50pts combine and on other way you get LBJ&Mac goes with 20 each bet you lose. Shut your fanatism sometimes cause you sounds like a fool
I love Pierce in this one. When Garnett and Ray Allen came to the Celts, PP had no problen immediately going under 20ppg to win a title. Pierce worked harder on D instead of spending all his energy on O. Then, Pierce still got his anyway. Jordan scores 30 ppg. Some other people have to score the othe 65- 85 pts to win the game. Lebron is a great, but if I was a star player that could play with either one, I would take MJ over Lebron. No disrespect to Lebron either.
lawwwllll...that such a Lebron thing to do...if he was In the 90s, he would've tried to join MJ, Hakeem or Shaq maybe..knowing those guys weren't gonna get recruited by him
BruceAeroustile omg lebron doesn't make you a better player. mj did. lebron make you looked better. you can improve your stat by having lebron on the court. but when he left, you become you again. look at cavs when he left. look at miami when he left. jordan made you a better player by having him as a teammate, he pushed to your limit until you wanna quit. but when you didn't quit, that's when you getting stronger, like pippen, grant, ect.
Kenneth Pippen, Rodman and all those others were aleady good to great players. they didn't need MJ to make them better. look at what happened when he left for play baseball. LeBron literally makes you better when you step on the floor with him. look at Mosgov, delly, varejo, and all the bums he played with. look at shumpert and JR when they played with the Knicks and look at them now
BruceAeroustile rodman yes, but pippen hell nah. he said it himself, michael drives him to be a better player. his will to win is all over the places so you either go with it or leave. anyway, you just proved my point dude. as i said jordan made pippen grant and others a better basketball player, so when he left, they could take care of themselves. lebron only make players around him LOOKED better on the paper like their stats will LOOK better when he's on the floor, but when he left, they become what they really are again. so where is mozgov, delly, varejao right now? they're becoming who they are again. JR was a good player in denver just inconsistent.
Listen Rachel, the first thing you should have learned before starting this show is that you never, ever interrupt an all time great player when you've probably never played yourself and your experience comes from earing others talk.
@@enterzync2630 he doesn't need 3 points, he can do it if he wants to... he's just being more efficient. Also, Lebron wouldve cried a lot like a baby in the big men era, might have quit the NBA if he faced the Bad Boys too.
Tracy's answer makes complete sense. He said he has a scoring mentality, and so it makes sense to have Lebron be a play maker for him. It's a bettery duo than if he played with MJ.
If I were a great scoring guard I would prefer to play with Lebron. What is the point of winning a ring if you are in the court for 5/10 minutes a game? Tracy is right!
But was he incorrect? Was MJ not a better clutch player? Was MJ not harder to guard? I think most, if not all, should agree with those based on stats and testimonials from players. The other two questions asked who would HE rather play or party with. It's HIS preference...doesn't matter if he's biased or not.
Jordan did elevated his team mates all the time. at practice , on the bench and at the court - he raised their standards higher. Made the team believe in him and themselves
