In this Video, I am going to discuss an important issue regarding Patients. This Issue is Medical Record SafeKeeping. While visiting for consultation with a doctor of any speciality, a patient should take his/her medical record i.e. Old Prescriptions, X-Ray Films, Ultrasound Reports, CT Scan & MRI Films & Reports and Lab Investigations and Tests etc with them and they should keep this Medical Record safe. Your Examining doctor will be able to correctly diagnose your condition.
If during visit to a doctor, a patient is not able to take his medical record with him then this will burden him financially if he again goes for these investigations second time. Operated Patients should present their Medical Record of Discharge Slip & other Tests during every visit.
