In no way am i hating but have yall thought about drafts or Clydesdales ik yall jump but they are calm and easier horses and ik Sophie has ossues with confidence and getting back on and sometimes that just resets your thinking and it blocks u from growing i think even though there big horses they could be better
Hi Laura CountryLaneAcres in Ohio are wonderful people. They have a great knowledge of goats and colours. My cousin praises them for all her goat needs. Check them out. When I am out for the day I sent up for night chores. Please I do the same in the night before for morning chores the day of trip. It makes it fast and simple. Get your self an automatic chicken door. They will make your life simpler. Set the timer and your chickens will go out in the morning and be locked up for night. One less job. I don't know how you do it running for grain every week. It would drive me insane. If i had to I picking up for the month. Job done. I would get proper grain storage bines. We made our own out of would and tin/metal. We also used freezers. They come in many sizes. We removed the compressor to make them lighter. Some we painted to go with the animals that were fed from it. Horses on one one pig on another and so on. Also it keeps rodents out of the feed. Plus they make great traps for mice rats and racoons. You put grain in the bottom put a board with a spring holding the board in place and when the critter walks to the end down it goes. Board springs back up and critter can not get out. You can also use a forty gallon steel drum/barrel. It is harder to get them out. One year we were so infested with rats when the pig farmer moved out. We caught so many we had cleaned it out 3 to five times a day. It was awful. It took us almost a year to get rid of them. After that we might see on or two. They were so bad they were eating piglets, kids, and lambs. I hate rats. Anyway you and Sam plus the girls are doing great. Love the video. God Bless
Shes beautiful! I love the name toffe! My new William , and my 7 yr old cat vinny i adopted last fall from work are slowly becoming friends. Unfortunately i think my female , Maui is still afraid im going to replace her. I also think shes jealous. Shes still been growling and hissing at William . Sorry Laura but the cat looks exactly the same to me
The new goat is beautiful when I first saw her face it reminded me of a long horn steer but she's 10 times nicer I bet her and Sophie's would get on really well with each other.
You need a wheel on that gate Laura! Cute little goat. Are the goat shows at local fairs? Don’t know much about showing goats. Maybe the Royal Fair in TO in November? That would be awesome. I showed a filly there in hand a million years ago. ❤

I love Gilligan's Island!! I think i have seen every episode plus the movies! Oh my lord the colors of the new goat remind me of a Calico cat! Look at that curly tail! She so precious!
