I'm surprised it hasn't happened to me yet. My Iron doesn't have a fuel gauge and the low fuel light doesn't work. I'm about to change all that. Have to replace the fuel pump any way. It whines bad for about 5 minutes.
Damn straight I have ran out of gas more times than I can count! Back in the day a lot of motorcycles didn't have gas gauges! Good story and a good assist from MMJr!
Bike needs some mpg tuning....or a string of led lights that come on when low.....one foot....half tank......two fooot.....quarter ......fooooouuuuurrr.......😏😉😖....or maybe bells.....😳😜
Been riding that bike all week long...back story was, the CB1100 has a countdown of miles on the last 30 or so miles.....somehow i missed the countdown...i was headed home from work on backroads, but to a gas station before i got home....fortunately only 10mins away from house 😊 ehhh...made for a fun story tho!

well, when fuel light blinks, it will show a count down of the miles remaining on tank...usually start at about 29 or 30 miles....either it did not show it or I missed it!
