I appreciate your response to the "call to marry" question, you kept it real. Yes the pursuit of marriage should be taken seriously and we should seek God's guidance every step of the way. But it seems sometimes Christians, especially Christian influencers, feel the need to make things "super deep" and "super spiritual" beyond what the Bible actually states or requires. This adds more onto believers than what is necessary. You are doing an amazing job with the man-sodes, I appreciate your transparency, wisdom, and humility. I enjoy listening to you and Kait!

Thank you for tackling this difficult and complex issue with grace. I can honestly say men (in general) don't date women they are not attracted to. There has to be something there. I've been turned down a lot by women over the years, and they have every right if they aren't interested as well. On one hand its easy to spiritualize the "right reasons" for relationship. But on the other hand the attraction has to be there at some point, as this is about relationship, not friendship or personal acceptance.

Hey brother, LOVE and missed these mini mansodes. In this video you say "singleness is your time to understand what marriage is really all about and what the gift of sex is and what your sexual desire/needs are"; please correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like something you're supposed to learn during marriage. You also say that we are all called to celibacy during singleness (which I agree with), but if that is true, then how can we expect to stay celibate and develop an understanding of our sexual needs/desires in the same season?

I think I look normal in my face, but when men realize, that I'm 5'10" and skinny, most of them just run away, bcs they want a more curvy woman with big breasts etc. At least this is my experience so far😢...and yes, I dated just born-again christian men🤷‍♀️

What's wrong with physical attraction determining if u pursue someone? I'm not going to wake up to a personality first thing in the morning or when I look, it's their beauty. Just like Solomon, David, etc were described as beautiful

It's more if you stay. If that is the main thing, you are attracted to them. That doesn't help when going through problems that will come up. Physical attraction can build it should definitely be their before marriage. But it can grow.

If their was a fire and your wife got trapped and pretty badly burnt to where she has large parts of her body that are going to have scars. Would you leave. If her beauty was the main thing that keeped you would her personality be enough for you to stay. Anything can happen. Yes their should be a level of physical actions. But that's not the end all be all. Sure it can be the reason you ask her out. It shouldn't be the main reason you stay.

@@pamm2652 same can then apply to her faith or personality. What if she gets in a crisis of faith or just becomes mentally disturbed suddenly? U wouldn't have married her as an atheist or someone special needs, just like I wouldn't ugly. But if religion, personality or looks change, u stay as a command of God (if it's marriage)

@stefanlaemers3053 depends on the questions you ask. I'm not easy on my faith in God. In the sense of I've always been willing to ask questions and look for answers. Their is a chance that I could have a season of being mad at God, but with how hard I've looked into things, it would be super unlikely. Beauty change if you grow old you will get full of wrinkles. Why would you want to get married if you don't even like a personality? You will go crazy having to live with someone you don't like. Yes, the mind can go. But often times that comes with old age. Why get married at all if you aren't willing to do the in sickness part? Which I would be willing to marry someone with a disability. Never said you shouldn't be at all physically active to them. But it shouldn't out weight how they act are as a person.
