This video features a great Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 EVO II that has been completely converted and modified to a DTM-spec car by Mercedes's expert, Mechatronik. Enjoy the lovely intake sound of the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine in action around Monza Circuit!

my father used to work on a replacement mercedes benz part company... i was used to see many mercedes models in the company... but there was one special day, i remember seeing this car i it amazed me how different it look, i was like 16years old im 40now.

Hi Bozzy. Thank you very much for this video, mate.🙏 This Mercedes and the sounds it makes are a true blast from the past for us older guys and something new and different for the younger ones. I think we can all agree, the cars from the DTM series were something special, definitely one of my favorites of all time because of how competitive it was. I'm out of the loop now. When i hear the sound that comes from the engine and not from the exhaust, is like i hear the sound of the 70's and 80's rally cars. That rally engine noise comes from the air filter. I have hear this sound and from daily cars that have put filtering, and this filtering gives this awesome sound you hear from the engine like this here.

Me faz lembrar da vitória do Senna em Nürburgring. Da DTM e do Gran turismo 4 o último exame da licença que eu passei horas pra poder passar e obter a licença. Esse carro tem meu respeito e admiração seria a realização de um sonho ter um 190E desses. Sensacional esse carro

Anyone remember the Nurburgring license test in Gran Turismo 4 that used this car? I could never pass that test :( had to get like a 7:45 and my best was low 8:XX
