I just today did a coil swap on my 05 sl500 and used your content to educate myself. You do a great job, Brandon. Thank you for the informative how-to videos on this vehicle.
I don’t install swaybars on my installations. I’ve spoken to some who have installed swaybars, and they say it drives fine either way. A bit more stiff with vs without.
@@marcusadams02 It’s already very stiff. One person said the swaybars make it too stiff. This car’s geometry was designed to not need a heavy swaybar setup. The SL350 has swaybars. But a lightweight one. The dampening of the Silver Neomax and the perfect spring rates compensate very well. For everyday driving, it’s very stable and firm. Well planted. Great traction and control. Adding swaybars is good for the track and high speed maneuvers. You will loose comfort to gain that. No track car is comfortable on the road. So you give up some comfort…for added swaybar performance.
I have a question for you maybe you can help I have a 07 Mercedes 550 S I replace the alternator and when my brother put the plate back on the front release cable assembly I think the cable came loose. However, we close the hood now we can’t reopen it, will we be able to unlatch the hood by removing the grill probably will have to break that grill
@@goldelementautoworks the cable on my 07 Mercedes 550 S is not working. I was wondering if I break the grill can I get to the cable or at least be able to pull the release for the hood, my brother put on an alternator and when he reassembled the hood component, I don’t think he put it on correctly so now I can’t get in the car at least under the hood
