very accurate sound. like installs in the factory locations. enjoys seeing how its done right. not just sheetrock screw things in place with no air tight
Great video. About to buy a W220 and can’t wait to redo the sound system. Will be putting a new double din headset in, replace all speakers all around. Amp running the main speakers and then prob 2 x 12 subs with a mono amp on that too. Let’s party
Hi, front and rear doors has 6.5’ speakers with 1’ tweeters, rear deck has 10’ sub, the oem amplifier is located on the rear left side in the trunk, the battery is on the right side of the trunk, thanks for watching
hi there, looks excellent. were the front tweeters just surface mounted? i can't seem to find any component speakers that are recommended that the front door tweeters will fit in the enclosure.
Hi Fred & sound i am going to build a 3 way plus a subwoofer active Sistem using 2 amps one for sub and one 6 channel for 3 way l have a 2010 ram whit the alpine premium sound system my question is where to tap in to get signal for my prosesor on the OEM HU? OEM AMPLIFIER? I just discovery you Chanel l am enjoying your videos
Juan Estrada hi, you will need to use special adapter that connects to built in oem amp, something like this: vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=391269477897&category=40017&pm=1&ds=0&t=1541628216000&ver=0 Happy you like my videos, thanks for watching
hi I have a 2005 w220 I hate the sound quality it sucks when the bass is up I just wanted to know do you wire the speakers up with the factory amp or did you add a new amp
Abraham Sulukyan hi, I just replaced the oem speakers with after market quality speakers on the same factory amplifier, and the sound it's so clear with no distortion, the reason you have harsh bass at high volume is because the oem speakers are very low quality , Thanks,
Abraham Sulukyan you can replace the speakers with no problem, and if you are interested in replacing the oem amp you can find on the net special adapter from optic fiber to after market amp, thanks
Do you think those plastic speaker mounts could do with reinforcing in some way? Maybe stick some dynamat on the inside and outside of the plastic to give some more weight to them?
Was just wondering because those plastic speaker mounts were made for those rubbish paper cone speakers and I'm sure for that they are plenty strong enough. Thought maybe with the stronger Hertz speakers that you might need some stronger mounts? I'm thinking about doing mine next week. Any idea how you could make the plastic speaker mounts stronger? Is my idea of dynamat added to them a good or a bad idea do you think?
Richard Watts hi mate, they are strong enough, even when the speakers it self sucks, in any case, soundproofing materials can only improve, so you can add a bit, thanks
@@frednsound i will change the original speaker to new speaker. I have no bose system. Which speaker watt i can buy ? You understand me ? Thanks and greats from germany
I just got a w220 and it has upgraded speakers already but no sound coming out of the drivers side tweeter. I need to get inside the door panel to see what's going with it.
hi, i need some help, i have a mercedez ml320 1998 and have bose system. i have reading in youtube that the speakers have optic cable so i need to change all the cables and the amplifier so i can connect the new speaker. i really dont want to do that, i only want to put the new speaker in the place of the bose speaker. Sorry for my bad english
Emmanuel Gómez hi, no it is not exactly, you have optic cable from headunit to your stock amp, from your amp to your speakers it's just speaker wire, you can just replace your speakers as this video, it have also optics harness from head to amp, speakers are just - + wires , thanks
