Well if you take care of it properly it will always work. These cars only start to nickel and dime you wallet when the owners don’t keep up the maintenance program. Or by those who totally tag them out by treating every single red light like a drag race. I have a 221 S550 now that is amazing and has had zero issues. I had a 97 S500 that i finally traded in with 327,212 miles on the clock with its original engine and transmission. Aside from regular routine services, I’ve only had a few problems. My door lock pump needed to be replaced, I had my Rear accumulators replaced, and a few front end suspension items like shocks tie rods and ball joints, a new starter cause something ate the insulation on the starter cables, a few light bulbs, and I had the transmission shift linkage bushings done, and had it rebuilt just as precautionary at around 200,000 miles despite still shifting perfectly in all gears. I’ve seen people go through all that and more in just a few years on much lower mileage cars. I just think they are kidding themselves when they say “oh i take good care of it”. Then go driving through a parking lot with later. So i expect to have the same reliable service from the current Mercedes s class I’m driving now.
@@vecernicek2 Do you believe that what he mentioned caused serious problems with the car? these are things that are about a car of this class, packed with electronics and technologies. Most of what he wrote is ordinary exploitation - replacement of suspension elements after the mileage is obvious - it's not a fault. read about real problems? go to the bmw forum 7 f01 of n63 v8 petrol - then you believe about problems with the car.

@@VMAdventures88 I mean I cant imagine a better 'driver' experience than the W221, so is the W222 driver experience actually better than W221. The W221 also has a naturally aspirate 5.5 V8 instead of 4.7 twin turbo

@@code6400 no, to je druhá věc. Z nějakých 30 tisíc lidí je tu pořád víc než polovina, která kanál sleduje právě kvůli POV. A na ty lidi se nemíním vykašlat. Ba naopak pro ně začnu v budoucnu natáčet i anglicky mluvené recenze.
