Evolution metal chop saw and Yeswelder MP200 welder. In this video I use both of these tools to fabricate/repurpose an old metal rack that I had in the garage,
The welder looks and sounds like it's working really well. I wouldn't mind having one in the shop especially since it also does TIG and the synergic welders have gotten pretty good at auto adjusting as you weld. Awesome saw too. (jealous of both) I really like those baskets, great for small parts and yet not accumulate dirt and gunk in it too. Meanwhile my steel is in a pile here and there...
I’m glad to see the saw and welder are working out well for you. I was delighted to get my husky 14 inch chop saw years ago. Not nearly as featured as what you’ve got now though, but I’m not nearly the fabricator you are. Truthfully I prefer a welder with out the automagic controls. Seems like something that could go wrong. I’m not experienced enough for my comments to carry a lot of weight, just have seen computer interfaces cause issues when things go wrong. You say it makes nice welds, so that opinion is good enough for me. Looking forward to seeing what you turn the boat trailer in to.
Making space for more stuff lol. Have you tried thinning the Rust-Oleum with Acetone and spraying it on? I have done this with a few projects and it works great. Nice finish and it saves a lot of time.
