Ironically, "Master of Puppets" was the first album I bought with my own money I saved from cutting old ladies lawns. Changed my trajectory in life as a teenager.
@@jeffgomez88 same. got it when i was 15, sitting in my parents' house in rural germany with nothing else to do. for two days i wouldn't dare listening past sanitarium because i didn't want the album to end.
Did you know that "Ride the lightning" and "Masters of puppets" were recorded in Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen (?) and that Metallica´s call their last album Lux Æterna a return to the 80´s and that the "Æ" are unigue to the Danish alphabet and thus can be seen as a tribute/symbol of that period of 6 months they stayed in Copenhagen in 84? If not, now you do 😄
i recently bought this album and it sounds everything and aspect i hear the drums and guitars feeding off each other and with a very good heavy metal vocalist and good singer
i know people that are even re discovery and that fact that they have not lost a beat and have energy cause its fast heavy and clean and james does a great job enunciating and as a lyrist these are very good
