Michael Bisping is SEVERELY underrated in the MMA community. He had the gas tank to go 7 rounds, he could eat punches all day, he fought with a FAKE EYE for years. And he was still incredible.

Think of the career of Michael Bisping: wins the ultimate fighter, gets knocked out in the most brutal of ways on the UFC’s biggest card, loses to big names while still performing well for years, loses to Rockhold the first time, able to get his revenge and expose Luke’s weakness for the title. Man fought for years to get that far. That deserves all the respect.
I think we all respect that he is a real true underdog that stuck it out and eventually at the end of his career got his win but he is not really on any top 10 list in terms of skill. I do think he would have lost to Whitaker, Romero and Gastellum KOd him as well. Good gas tank and good fast hands and pretty good at getting up from takedowns and toughness just one eye damn.
Bisping is actually a great guy. My wife & I met him @ k1 speedway & he was having dad & son time & he took time out of his busy day to chat with my wife & myself,we also took a pic. The Count is a Class act.
@Joe Buck sucks u had a bad experience with Bisping, I spent the afternoon with him & his son on the racetrack & seemed humble to me. I seen that he was having dad & son time & I approached him when his son was on the track & I expressed to him that I'm a fan & if he gets a moment out of his busy day we can take a pic. A while later he came & grabbed me & we took a pic & conversed about mma & parenting.
@@zf5656 Because it took multiple punches from massive punchers to finish him. An overhand from Yoel needed a follow up uppercut, Branch hits pretty hard and took out Thiago Santos with one hook but couldn't get Rockhold out of there. There's nothing wrong with his chin.
Sam Joel his chin is bad, but average to his natural weight set, move up to 185 and it becomes bad, he was average whilst lower, his defensive capabilities were lazy and slack
I can't blame the man. situation was never been easy for him ever since he stepped in the UFC, fought drug cheats and cost him an eye, always losing a title shot, always an option for a replacement in a week or days notice and he cannot say no, it probably more than a lottery for him haha.
Notice how at the end of the Silva fight he put he's head down ( like Silva) expecting defeat but he actually easyily won on points, he never could believe it and tbh I don't think he cared that much but he is a fuckin hard worker unlike so many other fighter who rely on talent alone.

Honestly, I feel micheal is one of the greatest ufc fighters ever, not in win loss, not in income, not in highlight moments, but because of what he said and did. Too many fighters are on roids, almost all of the fighters in people’s top 10s usually have had at least one steroid incident, but not bisping. He gave everything he had to this sport and became champ in a division and SPORT full of roided out monsters. To me, he’s without a doubt the most inspiring and model fighter in terms of fighting spirit and mental fortitude
@@kerrinlamb plus, the combo that dropped Luke is a very efficient combo that will literally drop anyone who got caught cleanly. Manny Pacquiao was doing that shot over and over again and he's dropping guys when he caught him clean. jab to the head, straight down the mid section and hook to the top and you will go down if those executed really well.
It's always amazing seeing someone's skill in their craft analyzed or broken down through film, but seeing professional fighters never ceases to amaze me. The reaction time, crisp punches, the way they (the successful ones) don't make any wasteful movements, etc... it's an art.
Dude beat Anderson Silva (perhaps the greatest of all time), then he avenged his loss to Smug Luke with a knockout to win the belt for the first time in his ten year UFC career at the age of 37. Then he avenged his loss to Dan Henderson and defended the belt. And that was all with one eye. It’s fucking amazing, great story, he’s a legend. He must of been soaring after those 3 wins.
One-eye bisping is one of the most respectable fighters ever to me. I couldn't stand the man for years, but he grew leaps and bounds in every way before he retired. Much love for the man.

I’m so happy Bisping won the belt and successfully defended it! Even if you want to say Dan Henderson as ranked 12 or whatever during Bisping’s title defense, both men put on an incredible performance and Bisping got to avenge one of his worst losses. My favorite Middleweight fighter.

Luke is athletic but is full of himself. I never get tired this KO sequence where Luke come in with that sloppy jab, leaves his guard down, chin exposed and Bisping tagging him on the button.
Michael Bisping and his coach are fucking brilliant in fight IQ. They studied Luke Rockhold and noticed he drops his guard on the left side so they drilled left hooks vigorously everyday before the fight(which was short notice like 11 days) and boom Michael is now " The Left Hook Count" and lord knows Michael Bisping deserved that damn belt way more than anyone so hats off to the pioneer/legend Michael " The Left Hook Count"

Bisping doesn't get the credit he deserves for how good and tough he is, you could put him against almost anybody & it's going to be a fight. He's no damn slouch & people slept on him for years, was always underrated.
There was a big difference. GSP did get some damage, and two both GSP and Bisping respect each other as realists and class acts, both of them. I used to think that Rockhold must be a good dude hanging out in the same gym as some class acts like Khabib and Comier. But the minute he started talking in this fight, and that line 'Silva has never been on my level.', there wasn't a single person but his mother who still respected him in that moment... Where the banter between GSP and Bisping was pretty funny as they clearly were having fun with it...
