I discovered this global stretch while talking with a patient.
This exercise acts on the tension between the shoulder blades and aims to reduce pain in the middle and upper back.
It focuses on the greater rhomboid, lesser rhomboid, posterior superior serratus, middle and lower trapezius muscles (we often talk about the upper trapezius and we often forget about the latter).
I show you in this video how to perform the exercise in a standing position but also in a sitting position.
Dosage:
- Hold the stretch for 6 seconds
- 5 repetitions on 3 series
