Aidon Bolander Nice. It should be really awesome. The bass of the charge 4 and the sparkly treble of the flip 4 combined should technically make an awesome pair.
The Charge 4 and Flip 4 sound really good together. Better then the Charge 3 and flip 4 combo since you get deeper, more realistic bass and cleaner overall audio.
I got a refurb xb 41 for $90. I couldnt find any better deals at that time and I really love this speaker. I own an old Wrangler and this is my main source of music when driving in a loud ragtop and it is plenty loud enough.
I have a JBL Pulse 3 since July and although is the most expecnsive of the bunch, no other speaker will leave an impression like this one. The sound is amazing, the battery as been very good, getting around 1 to 2 weeks of normal listening (2 hours per day at around 40% volume) and that light feature is just to good. I am beeing 100% honest, when I tell you that what you are seeing in the video isnt what you are seeing in reality. The lights are bright abd the paterns go with the music so well, it is just amazing to watch.
That’s wrong actually. When I listen to music on the XB31 I get left and right channel sound, same as when I game with it, I here things on the left on right separately, and you think it had less clarity because you had it in extra bass mode. It was an unfair comparison
I really like your Channel. I just bought from amazon charge 4 and I have a question. It’s absolutely no chance to watch a movie from the iPhone or maybe a laptop connected to it? It’s that much latency?
i have 2 JBL plus 3 and sync together in stereo mode not party mode and it sounds like my 300watts stereo component system. With 2 360° degrees speaker it really does fill my entire living room kitchen and receiving room.
Ultimate Ears is my favorite brand for durability and portability. The sound to me is also good too. JBL is my top favorite brand just because there speakers sound AMAZING.
Because i own the xb31 i can safely confirm that the speaker plays in stereo and not in mono, that means that the two woffers dont play the same audio all the time, if the song you play is stereo and if you are transmiting stereo via bluetooth you will get some kind of stereo out of the speaker and on some songs its noticable. *Jbl fanboy* Edit:Also i use the xb31 and xb41 daily and i can say that using 2 speakers the wpc is really good and i rearly get errors.

@@asilaydying1984 Yup.. I still prefer jbl. Its more versatile. Although the bass doesnt go as low as the sony's indoors, it sounds much better on higher volumes n outdoors.
I’ve had the Sony xb40 and didn’t like it and the speaker mount broke when I dropped it once, so I did research and the xtreme’s speakers where mounted better, then I got the xtreme 2 and they are soo Much better
Great review I have a JBL exteme 2 and Flip 4. Trying to decide to get pulse or charge. From the video pulse sounds the best specs say charge has more watts u say more bass charge it is.
The boom 3 only goes to 85 hz. I tested it myself the boom 3 is a little better then the boom 2. The ue boom 3's. Bass usually disappears at max volume with distortion. Save your money and go for the boom 2. My boom 2 went through a BEATING and it worked like a dream. Just get the balck version and avoid the blue and red.
Zackeroo HQ you misunderstood, first OP said boom3 is 85hz. Then you corrected him saying its 90hz, meaning bass response is worse. Now clearing that up, stop liking your own comments.
Hahaha I have a Sony srs xb 31, and trust me that is not crap, the jbl charge 4 has only 1 speaker that works for left and right sound while the srs xb 31 has 2 speakers and 2 passive radiators, the sound of the srs xb 31 is not crap i actually think is better having dual channel sound, and trust me the srs xb 31 is loud

Charge 4 seems very boomy for me. However, an EQ can solve this problem to achieve a more neutral sound. There I reduce de mid ranges and increase the 8k-20khz and 40- 80hz, where seems to be a deep. Charge 4 lakes the sub bass and air frequencies. But of course we are talking about mid speakers, not monitor speakers.

Idk why but no one talk about vocal?? If you like listening to songs mainly singer singing then vocal is important and ue products are really good at that
Anker has horrible highs that are harsh and no noise canceling microphone so using it as a speaker phone is basically useless. Steer clear of Anker products, thr only thing thats good about them is the warranty period.
I have a Sony srs xb 31 and I love bass, I basically listen to all my music bass boosted, and the Sony srs xb 31 gave me what I wanted great sound, really loud and good battery life and great bass
Prolatiker i wouldn't do that, the Sony app offers more features than the JBL Connect+ app... the charge 4 don't have the LED's, it also lacks of sound modes...well... i have a charge 3 and it sounds great, but the xb31 in Live Sound Mode sound AMAZING.
doumacacpan 2 flip 4, the charge 4 sounds very good but since it only has one transducer it’s gonna have no stereo separation, plus if you’re going camping or something you take both speakers and only use one at a time, and swap them when one dies
I have the Sony srs xb 31 and is actually perfect I charge it at night and I use it for almost all the day inside and outside, and when I don't need the lights I just turn them off and my battery last around 8/10 hours in a day jumping from half of the volume with extra bass or live sound one to also full volume in a day, I actually think is a really good speaker for sound feature and battery.
I just got the xb31. It sounds really good for jazz, instrumental hip hop and synth wave but it sounds meh for rock and metal. I've tried all the settings and played around with the equalizer. Will the charge 4 or megaboom 3 be better for rock and metal?
Christopher Ashley-Smith the Megaboom will sound dull as it has no deep bass, just a 10db boost at 130-150hz. The Charge 4 sounds pretty natural, but doesnt go as loud. If you got the Money, i‘d buy a Minirig Mini with Sub or Vifa Helsinki. If not, get the Xtreme 1. For Metal is is pretty ok imo. And costs around 150€, so cheaper than Charge 4.
You are right but you didn't quite get the prices right because xb is much cheaper than you said and charge is much more expensive than you said. You may think that it's small problem but people may choose their speaker from your review and when you don't take into account almost 1/3 price difference it's really bad for your channel because they might think that you have some collaboration with JBL or something like that...
Look what happenes to the jbl xtreme’s drivers when you push the radiators, the driver gets pushed out but it looks like the air escapes bc it retracts. Maybe that’s why the radiators never brake.
@Alerò Leave us... UE is horrible! It's only good at upper bass... It can't do low bass... Only the MEGABOOM 3 can do 'some' low bass but still can't match other speakers from JBL
And this is why Sony is trash and jbl is the best main stream portable speakers, but the pulse 3 is one of jbl,s worst speaker for the money, UE is just in the middle
