I am definitely skeptical on all of this and I am filipino. All the testimonies from the other contestants from Miss USA were too numerous for something they made up. And all of them had the same complaints too (Gabriel being allowed to walk in style whilst they were restricted to a certain walk, and etc.). I definitely believe Gabriel is not complacent on this and has no idea of what is going on in the background but I do know that these organisations would do everything they could to manipulate an agenda. We should not discount other women's experiences as a product of jealousy. Let them be heard as well.

I think she didn’t win the first time but just first runner. Then she tried again the following year and she got the Ms Tx title. So that’s clearly not rigged otherwise she would have won on first attempt. Since she had already more experience, she was more prepared the second time. That’s what happened to Pia and Catriona and beauty queens who pursued till they get the crown.

It's so upsetting that they are still talking about her winning being rigged here in the USA in the media. It is downplaying her efforts and the fact that USA won again after 10 yrs. There is still a lot of doubts and lack of support for her. I feel for her, especially now that she has won and proven herself. I hope she will be recognized more on the title that she once brought back again here in the USA, but then she has proven her resilience and a lot of people (mostly Filipinos) are still behind her.
